  1. what MPG does your gauge cluster read for your average fuel?

I’m at 6.1L/100km now in colder winter weather. Last summer I was at 5.9L/100km..
  2. Should i buy a CTR that has been to 2 accidents? I have detailed Reports of each

Hard pass. It’s comparatively cheap for a reason. Even if properly repaired, it’s still been in TWO collisions. That stigma will bite you in the ass when you eventually decide to sell it.
  3. Paint bubbling and showing rust, is there a possibility I could fix this myself?

Fender… wishful thinking. That’s the dogleg, a real miserable spot to repair with no recurring issues because of the multiple layers of metal.
  4. Paint bubbling and showing rust, is there a possibility I could fix this myself?

That depends on how qualified you are. Worst case would be perforation, metal replacement and panel refinishing. Bubbling on a previous repair typically isn’t an easy fix. Body shops usually don’t guarantee repair like that.
  5. Paint bubbling and showing rust, is there a possibility I could fix this myself?

It looks as if the car is showing you where poorly repaired body damage is located.
  6. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Nothing to worry about. Knock count also increases from extraneous driveline vibrations, rough roads and the AC compressor cycling. On a good day on a hot humid summer day my KCon is 0.72 on 91 octane fuel. I’m too German to feed the car 93 octane. It runs great on 91 like Phearable said it...
  7. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Another uneventful year since my last update. Nothing to report since first tuning my car in December 2019 except an enjoyable, trouble-free tuned driving experience. Vehicle: 2018 Civic Touring sedan Total tuned time: 5 years Tuned miles driven: 94,000km; ~ 59,000 miles Tuning device used...
  8. Very Strange Stock Tire Wear

If you’ve got awful tire noise and wear on one edge, the tread is most likely feathered… points to needing an alignment before new tires.
  9. When to shift on 1/4 mile runs.

General drag race practice is to shift at the RPM that puts the engine in the torque peak in the next higher gear.
  10. Used engine oil with milky substance

Full disassembly and ultrasonic cleaning of every component followed by a complete rebuild with whatever parts that show damage. If you have that much metal in the oil the engine is junk as it sits.
  11. Used engine oil with milky substance

Got a magnet handy because that looks like metallic glitter. Coolant intermix is typically all one even mocha colour by the time it’s in the engine for any length of time.
  12. First CVT Change

MM will pop up at around 80,000km. I decided to go at 50,000km intervals because the service is pretty affordable to do.
  13. F$%#ing Meth Heads Broke Into My Car

Go to a reputable body shop. Unless your dealer has an on-site body shop themselves, they’ll farm it out anyway.
  14. Switching tunes for long distance travel

Y You’ll find Ultra 94 at most Petro Canada locations in southern areas of Canada but they’re the most pricey of any fuel stations. Your car will run fine on the 94. Porsche suggests using 93 in my Boxster but it runs happily on 91.
  15. Switching tunes for long distance travel

I take it 93 is unavailable along part of your route and at your destination? Just flash a 91 tune before you start out.
  16. Suggestions for other mods.

Depending on the size of the loose nut behind the wheel, put money aside for the clutch you’re going to have to replace.
  17. Touring vs Sport vs Si suspension interchangeably

This is a very easy, inexpensive mod that really changes the feel of the car. The rear end doesn’t feel like wants to roll over anymore in sharp corners. I’m still on the fence about switching to Si springs.
  18. Maintenance Minder Item 9

There’s more than the dollar cost to weigh in... I’m an owner, not a dealer employee or service tech. It’s rather alarming to feel how much more responsive your brakes are after this service, as in how much quicker and harder they bite and slow the car down after having the brake cleaning...
  19. Possible water in motor

Wet MAF sensor or other electrics. If you bent a rod by hydro locking it would run a lot shittier than what you’re seeing, if it would run at all.
