Sounds like you and I are pretty similar then. I'm 6'2", but mostly torso. I have to keep my seat pretty upright to reach the wheel, and my hair constantly brushes the roof of my SI. An extra 1-1.5 inches would certainly make things less irritating for my daily driving... lol
Thanks!
I'm currently in a 2018 SI Coupe, which came with a sunroof. My headroom is *exactly* enough, but I've found myself wondering how much headroom the other Civic models without sunroofs have.
Has anyone been in a 10th gen both with and without a sunroof to know how much headroom you gain/lose?
Just an update for posterity, in case anyone else ends up searching for this issue.
The company sent me resistors and decoders to try, and neither of them worked. I have since removed the LED bulbs, and reinstalled the factory bulbs, and I am still having the light flashing issue.
So...
I know this isn't the exact point of the thread, but Quicken (Rocket Mortgage) has a loan program that lets you pay 1% down for a slightly higher interest rate. My wife and I moved into our home a few years ago for only a couple grand out of pocket, and just recently refinanced to 3.99%...
I'm already pondering doing so, yes. Not because I need 300 hp (I don't) or because I plan to track it (I don't), but mainly because I 1) want a hatchback, 2) want the increased headroom from not having a sunroof, and 3) still want to be able to put some power down and have some fun when I'm in...
As the title states, trading my 2018 SI wheels for 2020 SI wheels. Willing to drive within a few hours of Florida or the SE US to meet up.
Will throw in epic quality fist bumps to sweeten the deal!
This ^ 100%. My SI is my first manual car, but I've learned to release the clutch slowly, and give it a bit of time between 1-2 and 2-3 for the revs to fall and the gears to line up before I release my left foot. My shifts aren't perfect butter, but I don't expect that shifting without feeling...
Wow, I opened this forum wondering if anyone would be willing to trade their 2020 SI wheels for my 18 wheels, and ... damn, here you are!
I'm a few hours south of you, but if you want to work something out man, I am 100% on board. I love the 2020 wheels. Let me know!
Hmm, well, I emailed the company to see if they've heard of the issue. If not, I guess I'll look into some of those adapters.
Appreciate the help guys!
Well shit, I have Cougar LEDs too. Kind of hard to ignore that coincidence.
Still though, if the light selector isn't even sending power to them, why the hell would they flash? Makes no sense...
I can look around for it when I get home. At work at the moment.
Sorry man, looks like it was on an old work computer that I don't have anymore. I will see if I can put it together again this weekend.
