Just wanted to note that the green wire was the issue for me as well. It’s painful to repair if the breakage is really close to the connector and I’ll probably buy a new part if it breaks again but soldering worked fine and it’s fixed for me too...

Just wanted to note that the green wire I mentioned earlier was the problem (not the one the dealership found). I finally got around to soldering it and e-taping it (not enough room for heat shrink :( sadly). Once I did that I haven’t had the issue again. It’s bothersome that I pointed this out...

I found the following thread and noticed that the wire was pretty damaged and ended up snapping when even barely touching it. https://www.civicx.com/threads/engine-error-code.24289/ Will replace that wire and update here if that perma-fixes this.

Taking off the bumper isn't a huge problem, if you look through my posts I've done it more than five times due to different things (accident, horn, lasers, etc) I feel as though having a horn in addition would sound weird and the placement would be hard. Where were you thinking of placing it?

I attached some before and after pictures. I attached some pictures of before and after the repair. Also I replaced the horn with a non moped sounding horn.

Completed this all myself at $424 :)
