Ok guys, got the Ktuner with the TSP stg1, and installed my PRL Cobra CAI (race Maf), sounds good and feels amazing, but i threw a CEL. P2187. I was told the Race Maf worked, so thats why i ordered it. Was told it was good from TSP as a matter of fact.
Any one have any suggestions on this...
Ride quality is close to stock, and just a tad more firm. The great thing about the D2 springs is that they are so inexpensive, you can still clear speed bumps, the ride isnt compromised, and you still have your ADS. Its a very good spring setup.
Yea, got it from Autonation Honda Chandler. Its kinda tricky, but thats because the lip isnt designed for the SI. It doesnt fit perfect but as you can see in the picture it looks good from that distance and you cant tell. Up close theres a couple gaps.
Hey guys! Just got back into hondas with my 2018 Si, i live in the gilbert area, so if any of you guys are out this way let me know. Just left the subaru world after 4/5 years. Glad to be back - Had 2 Sti's, a brz, and a wrx all in that time period and didnt fall in love with any of them...
I would pay 1450 with quickness to have a nice smooth and capable clutch. I hope he still offers this in the future. I live in phx, so it would be a bit of a drive, but if he could get it done in a day, id be down for sure.
Thanks a bunch for the reply, i am looking to get 18x9.5 +38 and use the stock tires for now since the car has 600 miles. wanted to get goils and went with D2 springs for now while i was researching fitmit and waiting for them to make the ADS light eliminator. Did you have to roll your fenders...
Man your setup is Fire, what are the wheels and specs if you would be so kind? Also, with the ADS warning light do you notice that sport mode functions the same minus the ADS? Im wondering if that would mess with Ktuner map settings etc

Hey man how did you get the front so low with GC sleeves? I thought they would only do a 1.75inch drop in the front?
I noticed my Steering wheel is slightly crooked, but that is a big drop at 2 inches. An alignment will fix that right up. Any time you lower your car you should get an alignment anyway tho.
They are ok, they def look better with the car lowered. You cant see the concave of the wheels as much when its stock, so a little camber def helps. I loved my stock 09 FA5 wheels tho. I owned that car for 6 years and modded the crap out of it, never felt the need to change the wheels.
As someone who absolutely loves the FA5 and the 8th Gen in general dont be afraid to get the 10th gen SI, its an amazing motor.
I am looking forward to uncorking the new motor with this tune. My 10th gen has 500 miles..... but ive already ordered a bunch of stuff. thats how confident i am with...
Its a bit of a long story, but i will try to summarize. I had originally bought a 2015 STI and had nothing but problems with the car for a year and a half. Eventually Subaru bought the car back from me, and i bough a 2016 WRX (I wanted to try the new motor) so i started to mod that one thinking...
