I want to have an extra key cut to hide under my vehicle in the event I'm out somewhere and loose a key. Does anybody know if I can get a non-electronic "valet" key (without the buttons on it) that will unlock the doors and start the vehicle?

I purchased an LX yesterday and nobody mentioned anything about this. My relative who is a Honda mechanic seemed aware of the problem but didn't seem concerned - said it was easy check and would be covered under warranty if anything went wrong.

Okay, since it doesn't sound like there is an off the shelf solution I will probably pull 12V power from somewhere and use a small LED strip and a momentary switch to craft a solution. If it works well I will post my results here.
