I have an Si coupe. There are rare moments I “regret” getting the coupe. But then I’ve always wanted a 2-door car, and coming from a 4-door car was interesting. It’s not as practical as the sedan, obviously, but if given the chance to go back, I’d still choose the coupe. I like the aesthetics...
I prefer the bottom wheels. I’ve always been more of a 5 spoke guy. With that said, I agree with what gtman said, and with that said, I’d go with 18s instead.
This. When I installed my HID kit, I about shit a brick when my dash lit up like a Christmas tree. But it started fine, so I drove it around and everything went back to normal after a few minutes.
I ran the wire behind the headliner and down the a-pillar into the fuse box. For the rear cam I just ran the wire along the headliner and tucked the excess into the headliner in the back.
I like that...but at the same time...my driving changes around popo regardless of whether or not I’m doing “spirited driving”.
So I’d probably say “if you wouldn’t do it with your wife in the passenger seat” :D
So I tried it, and with this set up I can’t see the lanesplitting bikers, so that’s a pass for me. I’ll stick to my spherical mirrors and the conventional set up.
The DRLs switching off is the stupidest idea ever. It makes it seems like you have a bad headlight. My Audi had that and it was the first thing I “fixed” when I got the software to mess with it. If you’re worried about people not seeing your turn signals, get yourself some LEDs from typerleds...
Chose “never use it” because I don’t think the handful of times I used it in a drive through counts as “sometimes”. That split second it takes to disengage annoys me too much to use it in any capacity other than when there’s a slight incline at a drive through and I don’t feel like holding my...
I just use the little spherical mirrors instead. Also I know where I’m going to be 90% of the time, so I just glance to make sure nobody has occupied the spot I’m about to get into.
With that said, I’ll give this a try for a few days to see how it feels.
Call me silly, but I think rev matching is lame. I test drove a Mini that had it, and it matched perfectly with every downshift with zero effort. I mean it makes you feel great, but it's a lie...it steals part of the experience for me. I know you can turn it off, but still, meh.
Eww, that interior...especially the shifter area. Who thought that was a good move? They're trying to make it seem sporty, but one look inside and it's like blergh
