Don’t doubt it. The guy seemed more clueless than anything. Guess I’ll be making a road trip in the future but I kind of want to wait for the MY19’s to roll out first. Hopefully the CTR market will do the same thing as the BRZ/FRS soon

Weight reduction improves literally every single aspect of the car. If manufacturers would stop this horsepower war and instead focus on making cars lighter, maybe they’d be able to meet the more stringent fuel economy standards as well as producing a generally better vehicle dynamically.

Just stopped by my local stealer and asked if they had any CTR’s on the lot. They said they don’t have any more allotments and that Honda is done making the ‘18’s for the year and have not confirmed a MY19. Is this true? Are all CTR’s spoken for as far as dealer assignment?

Sounds like it could be a manufacturing related defect and Honda is still trying to determine if their root cause analysis is correct. If this is the case then only time will tell
