Thank you, I was impressed myself with the final result to be honest. All the products used are mentioned in the video link I posted from Pan the Organizer. Primarily it was a simple degreaser, some brushes, and a hyper dressing diluted 1:1.

Really wasn’t that difficult and actually quite fun, only thing I covered was the alternator, didn’t even bother with the battery or anything. I bought some of the brushes and hyper dressing this guy recommended on YouTube and pretty much followed this video step by step, maybe it’ll help you.

Will do, I also had a bunch of rock chips, I touched them up with a paint pen I got from the dealership. It’s not perfect but better than the black and silver bare bottom metal and plastic on the hood and front bumper. I’ll document and upload.

First time cleaning an engine bay, was put off it for years afraid of damaging electrical components but after a proper amount of research and becoming more confident, I’m so glad I did it. Now on to machine polishing and paint correction for the first time! Lol

Yup, can confirm I’ve heard exactly what OP is describing and it’s the AC being on, sounds awful and like something is definitely wrong, but nope, turn the AC off and the weird whining noises during acceleration totally vanish.

If you’re running iOS 12 beta there’s lots of bugs. Turning on watchlane will often disconnect CarPlay, forcing me to unplug and replug the lightning cable after every time I use watchlane.
