theyre look so good, but I’m facing dilemma, replacing exhaust will adding unwanted noise for my audiosystem hearing environtment.
but when I hear roaring exhaust.. damn.. it stop me getting older.
for installing them, you need to remove the bumper first, remove lot of clips attached under, unscrews all 8 screws, unclip bumper sensor, pull the bumper backward
to remove the stock lips
look inner bumper side, there are 2 screws and 2 clips need to remove (sorry my dirty bare hand)...
thanks. its only reduce the road noise, still there not gone, I can not expect more.
maybe additional rubber sealing to each door will help.
its help the speakers sound as they should.especially on high volume/gain, will be alot of vibrations on car panel.
It’ll improve your sound systems, even...
subwoofer same as yours, driver side on the back. I’ll post photos
I’m using phase Alliante 10”. slim type subwoofer, require small volume enclosure.
here are some sample recorded using my iphone.
I have a few sound recording on my page
thats must be awesome
mine was upgrade to,
3way on front (audible physics tweeter, brax matrix midrange, brax 6.1 midbass
on passanger side upgraded but set to off, its on when needed
installed a 10” phase alliante, handling low frek just like yours.
Im using 2 helix hxa poweramp and helix dsp...
yes.. mine exhaust on both side, I’m thinking how to move the Tips to center, without changing the whole exhaust. I read civic use one piece exhaust, I dont wanna cut them.
maybe you can replace long bolt screws with philips head screws with appeopriate size and lenght to direct bolt on the outer hatch panel, you can use screwdriver to tighten the screws through the hole plates.
but I dont know its effects.
I choose to follow its design.
just open the hatch cover...
sory I didnt make documentation , here is I found in youtube:
to open the hatch inner cover.
you need to make attention to those 2 holes on the plate marked in the pict.
you should made holes upright those holes. so they’re aligned
and there is space between the holes on plates and the holes...
mine just get installed. it was DIY. at first I was try using the templates, but it was accidently resized when printed.
so I draw them my self directly to the hatch.
1. cover the hatch with tape
2. place the wing to the hatch, verify carefully that they sit perfectly, second opinion may needed...
