  1. Apple CarPlay suddenly stopped working

My update - for some weird reason my VPN app was the bug in the process. I disabled that, everything worked fine. I deleted that app and reinstalled and got it set properly, and all is well now. Very weird!
  2. Apple CarPlay suddenly stopped working

Did both a few times, no dice. Have tired with Bluetooth paired and not paired, on and off and also no dice. Going to try and new cable next.
  3. Apple CarPlay suddenly stopped working

Although occasionally wonky, Apple CarPlay has worked consistently for me since I bought my car. This morning however, it has suddenly stopped working. I plug in my phone after the car is running like I normally do, I see a brief I can change on the smart phone button to show Apple CarPlay is...
  4. Clunking noise from front end upon first moving.

I mentioned it in a previous thread: https://www.civicx.com/threads/clunking-noise-front-driver-side-wheel-well.19587/page-5#post-476466

  6. Clunking noise from front end upon first moving.

Yes, it was a manufacturing defect on the part.
  7. Clunking noise from front end upon first moving.

Sounds like the rear motor mount to me. Check out some of my posts and you can review my experience with what sounds like the exact same issue. Don’t be afraid to bring it to your dealer, that is what they are there for you.
  8. Borla Exhaust for Si?

I tweeted at them a few weeks ago, they confirmed one is in the works but no timeline as to when it might hit the market.
  9. It only lasted 2,670 miles...

The difference in "white" from the plastic to metal parts is disappointing.
  10. Sustained driving at high speeds... long-term effects?

Nope, I don't agree to disagree. You post something publicly about dangerous behavior that puts people at risk, I am free to comment on it. To be clear, I am glad you were terrified at her speeding and that you asked her to stop. You never said if she actually did stop. Hopefully that is the case.
  11. Sustained driving at high speeds... long-term effects?

Big difference between >100 mph and the speeds you are talking about. Likelihood of deadly crashes raises significantly (and exponentially) as speeds go over 80 mph. * A 2009 study published in the American Journal of Public Health estimates speed limit increases were responsible for 12,545...
  12. Sustained driving at high speeds... long-term effects?

Posts for advice and then doesn’t like comments. If you want to play semantics, your post was in the present tense and you said that you presently are in fear of her driving. That implies that this sort of behavior continues. If you asked her to stop driving like a maniac and she did, fabulous...
  13. Sustained driving at high speeds... long-term effects?

OP, need to get a new GF. Not only is driving like that reckless, it is putting you, her, and others in danger. Just a bad collision waiting to happen. You going to have her drive the kids around some day? Yikes.
  14. WTB: Civic SI HFP Lip Spolier

I guess I meant the zip clip things that come with the kit.
  15. WTB: Civic SI HFP Lip Spolier

For sedan, part # 08F01-TEA-182. Not sure on coupe but you should find it. I did it myself, it wasn't that bad. The instructions are not great. Basically, follow the advice to take the front bumper cover off, then improvise. You just need to center it, drill some holes to bolt and zip tie it...
  16. Clunking noise front driver side wheel well

I think you are referring to the torque rod. Also, squeak seems like a different symptom than I had.
  17. Clunking noise front driver side wheel well

It was part # 50850-TBC-A01 which (if you google it) should see on diagrams. I can't say how hard it would be to DIY but it doesn't look simple. It is not the torque rod, which some call a mount.
  18. Clunking noise front driver side wheel well

Nope, the driveshaft wasn't it. Makes more sense in hindsight now, based on when it would happen (torque from very low speed in first gear was easiest way to reproduce). Feels great now with the mount replaced. Sadly, driving home from the dealer a giant rock kicked up by a dump truck put a nice...
  19. Clunking noise front driver side wheel well

A follow up on my posts - problem solved with replacement of the transmission mount. Seems like there was just a bit too much play in something with that. If any of you are hearing/feeling the noise on the driver side, maybe even feeling a bit of vibration under the floor by your feet, have your...
  20. Want to install a roof rack on my Si

I use the Seasucker systems. They are fantastic.
