I’m just basing it off of the YouTube detailers that say you should wash it with a specific soap and then recharge it with another product to freshen it up after a wash and then use another ceramic friendly detailer to wipe it in between washes.
No personal experience.
I was doing some research into the ceramic coatings and doing it myself but the maintenance is just too much in money and time to bother with.
I was watching a YouTube detailer who applied a ceramic coating on his BMW M5 and said that it was more susceptible to water spots and must be removed...
The fact that the crane also landed on the pickup truck behind the civic might have prevented all its weight from smashing into it. I can see the passenger surviving but I don’t know how the driver escaped more injury. Thank god she did.
I just sold my 2006 Accord with stick and I miss it already. I was having battery problems and I had my kids push start it. That was fun. Of course, I was the one in the driver’s seat and not pushing!
In college my car overheated in rush hour traffic coming off the highway, and died on the off-ramp. Of course, instead of anyone helping me, they just honked and gave me dirty looks while I pushed it to the side of the road. This was before cellphones were even invented, so I was waiting for...
We have something similar but it’s pretty bulky and heavy. The air pump is not very good for inflating car tires. It takes a couple minutes to inflate one tire that’s 5 or so pounds under pressure and I have to let it rest for a couple minutes before filling another tire. The first time. I...
Lol. It only took 9 replies before someone complained about people complaining about the volume knob. Maybe people griping about the existence of the vk will be the thing that other people will complain about now.
Maybe upload a video of you doing your usual acceleration from a full stop for a better assessment of the situation.
And slightly off-topic...When I’m fourth or so at a red light and the light turns green, I hate that the cars in front of me don’t react until the car in front of them starts...
And this is the difference. Most Knobbers say “I wish Honda would bring back the knob.” They’re not saying bring back the knob and get rid of all other ways of adjusting volume and if you don’t like the knob you’re a moron.
Actually, it’s more like the same 3 or 4 people feel compelled to post to tell the “knobbers” what they should or shouldn’t like or to get over it and and then keep posting to make sure everyone knows that they don’t care about the knob.
I know my insurance company will cover the cost of the front windshield because it is a safety issue. I’ve never had to test it out though. I’ve had small “bullet hole” type damage on my windshield before but it never got bigger so I never got it replaced. I am always leery about replacing...
It would be cool if there was some sort of custom fit magnetic panels that you could put on side panels when you park out in public to prevent dings. Of course, if it’s not somehow secured, they’ll probably be stolen in no time.
Looks good. Sadly, npmost of the dings on my car are at the top of my rear quarter panels. The dreaded kids exiting the SUV like they are storming the beaches of Normandy.
Again, I ask: Have you never had to hit the brakes hard at the last second or drifted from your lane because you were trying to read a road sign a little too long or you started to get drowsy on long drive or a some idiot cut you off or turned into traffic without looking? No one is perfect...
Agh! I saw a lady in the car next to with something fuzzy & white by her chest. I thought was a poodley dog in her lap, but it was one of those steering wheel covers. How does she not get into an accident while driving?
