If you need the cargo room, then Miata is definitely out of the question. If you want more of a sports car feel (seating position is amazing), then the BRZ will provide you with that, but you are going to have to downshift a lot to avoid the torque dip at around 4K. The Si is going to be the...
This is exactly what people should be aware of. It's not just a matter of stating the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act to the dealer. You are essentially taking a risk if you perform any mods. If my car happened to catch on fire, they could blame it on my aftermarket led bulbs if they wanted to.
My mistake. I had leasing numbers in my mind since I leased mine.
$0 x 60 months = ZERO // means you got the car for free, payed cash, stole the car or somebody is paying the car loan for you
No car payments are nice when your car note is high. If it is low, then it doesn't really make a difference unless your living paycheck to paycheck. An extra 250 or so dollars a month is not going to change anyone's life if they have everything else in order.

You can shift at a lower rpm, but I find that you need to rev the engine out a little more because the drivers with an automatic behind you can shift gears quicker and because of that, they will be on your bumper.
And that's the problem with track times. Don't get me wrong, the Si is a great car, but not better than some of the vehicles that had slower lap times. Do you really want to be taking high speed corners in a Grand Cherokee or a BRZ? Based on these numbers, the answer is Cherokee!
I was really thinking about getting an MX-5 RF. The body roll and no back seats is what made me decide not to get one, since it would be my only vehicle. I may pick one up in the future though.
The Z has always been on my list when shopping for a vehicle, but it's just too dated and gets the same gas mileage as a v8. The insurance for me is very expensive as well.
