I haven't looked at spacers in years but price of spacer could possibly depend on the type, which also depends on size (cutoffs are not exact)
>15mm bolts on to the hub and has another set of studs built in to mount your wheels on. Maybe requires shaving of studs for smaller spacers
<10mm just...
I have a prl intake and I had to drive through a flooded section of freeway during heavy rain. I thought for the entire 10-15min I would hydrolock but nothing happened.
For peace of mind I would recommend 27won. You'll probably be fine with prl but you will definitely be anxious every time it...
Those are voltex rear overfenders for the s2000, but someone figured out it fits nicely on the fk8 front. First person I ever saw with those was @jepps_ctr on ig but it seems slightly more common now.
Unsure if it's originally for the ap1 or ap2
Sorry to hear that, it sucks to see your first car get destroyed. I got hit by a camry last year but thankfully the damage was fully within the driver door and fender.
If my hatch got totaled I'd probably look for a clean manual fit, or a fiesta/focus st if I feel fancy.
No, but under one of the invoice line items there is a note that I was approved for good will repair with the 70% coverage. Other than that I have 0 information or paperwork on the claim itself. I would hope that once this is officially covered they would reimburse whatever amount you paid...
Update on this, the service advisor called me the next morning and said the good will claim was approved for 70%. They had to wait for a new evaporator to arrive but I picked it up this afternoon, 3 days after drop off, and the total on the invoice was $580.
The only time I went to this dealer...
I dropped off my car at the dealer this morning and the service advisor updated me saying the condenser, compressor, and evaporator are all bad. They are requesting a good will claim for evaporator today and will let me know the result tomorrow morning. I'm tentatively taking that as a sign that...
Not sure if this has been covered yet but Honda sent me the same letter posted on the first page of this thread, and also a form for reimbursement for past compressor and compressor seal repairs
I wanted a car with stick and decided to go with another civic after having driven a 2012, 2002, and 2015 in that order. It was the perfect starter car (and a great finisher car for many). Tried a bunch of mods mostly out of curiosity. I found the perfect balance for a fun and engaging daily and...
With the amount of power other tuner cars like the mk8 gti and vb wrx are making with like one bolt on and a tune, I honestly wouldn't bother lol. Unless you replace literally everything like the rods, fuel system, turbo and all intake/exhaust, clutch. And probably the gears for good measure...
I'm not against decorating cars if that's someone's preference. But the fact that anime/cars is somewhat its own culture is weird to me, even the little window decals where it looks like someone is peeking out the bottom. The only other people that do this sort of thing are like.. sports or...
I think 27won got it right with their single bushing rmm. It makes the nvh pretty consistent rather than the super shuddery low rpm and still loosey goosey higher rpms with other rmm solutions. As long as you have both bushings on the rmm and try to stiffen it you'll have a bad time.
I have a 2019 hatch so you can probably ignore my feedback. I know the delay-buck you're talking about but it's never ever 1 second long, it's at most half second and a stft spike that doesn't exceed +30%. I assumed it was within normal operation but it seems ktuner makes that interaction far...
I have 70a rmm, fk8 retrofit, and rev hang disabled. On TSP stage 1 which I'm not sure exactly how aggressive the throttle padding and other general settings are.
I'm not sure if you're referring to jerkiness/bucking within gear or when engaging the clutch into another gear but I still...
I have eibach front and rear sway bars, I tried the accord end links but the fronts weren't short enough. I have the whiteline adjustable end links at minimum length but every so often one side comes loose if I drive on bad roads frequently. It's not a big deal it just clicks at first and later...
