I did the type RV6 type r kit with a stage 0 clutch and am thrilled with itā¦the pedal firmness and feel is nearly identical to stockā¦and as I throw more mods at it there is nothing to sorry about from a power perspectiveā¦mods are noted in my signature line
The car is transformed with the new clutchā¦I canāt kee tires on it š
Hard to describe the clutchāspongyā feeling- itās in the last 10% of travel and is a pedal problem, the clutch itself is fineā¦it might be a normal pedal feel for someone with the Type R conversion, I donāt have any frame of...
Oh no I understood thatā¦I did a bad job of explaining myself. I did my original post and planned on following up every so often and thought I had at least onceā¦based on the date of my first post I thought I did a second and then sometime in the future planned on a third, and so onā¦.my guess is I...
Thank you everyone for the suggestions - I like the suspension suggestions!
Im going to put the rear sway bar and shifter 1 and 2 on my list.
For tires Iām currently running Bridgestone Potenza re980 A/S and I like the overall performanceā¦but they wear out too fast.
I am looking at upgrades...
My 2018 Civic Si Coupe has a PRL Downpipe/frontpipe, Cobra CAI, KTuner and RV6 Type R flywheel with stage 0 clutchā¦it probably will need an upgraded inter coolerā¦.and then what?
To be honest, I never planned to go any further then current mods, so Iām unsure where to go nextā¦ but now Iām...

With the average new car price around $48k, sadly, from that perspective itās a steal ā¦.almost hurts to type that ā¦.and I want one, but like the Type R, I wonāt pay over sticker so itās unlikely Iāll get one
I did it the other way based on some bad info, and my clutch is laying on the shoulder of a highway nearby. If I had to do it again, Iād do the cluth
I had the same kit installed two (or three) weeks ago and the did a little research on the Exedy website to see if there are any break in procedures for the new clutch - the website FAQ noted that it takes approx 500 miles to break in the new clutch. Here is what they r recommend:

I had the RV6 retrofit and stage 0 Exedy clutch installed after my stock clutch Jimmy Hoffaād on the highway a couple of weeks ago.The difference is stunning from a performance perspective and since itās a stock clutch it is still a good daily driver.
it will also allow me to keep adding mods...
Oh yeah I know that - if my post gave the impression I think Iām making 300 HP, it wasnāt my intent. I was merely pointing out the clutch can handle 300 HP.
My 10th Gen had a KTuner and PRL cobra intake and on a daily basis it was usually run with the 23PSI tune. At 78k miles the clutch failed - spectacularly - on the highway.
Luckily, I found the RV6 type R flywheel/Exedy stage O kit at TwoStep.com, ordered it and waited.
It arrived on a Sunday...
