Ok so I do not track the car and honestly don't drive it super hard in general. I do drive it on some light, but spirited drives, but shocked at the way these rotors have worn/grooved. Everything is stock aside from 1 tire set and I have around 30K miles. Is this normal? Pads are all nearing...
That is so odd. We shall see as I plan to stay with car when I get it replaced later this week or early next week. I will report back so future people in this crappy situation will know the process.
Yeah my dealer I think lets the 3rd party do everything including the windshield. So that being the case I think I am going to go with a different 3rd party who at least uses Pilkington glass which is the same manufacture of OEM. Just the place said only difference should be it won't have the...
Honestly some insurance adjusters actually I would say most know little about cars and go off shop estimates and what there computer program says to come up with offers. Thats why more times than not the insurance offer is much less than shop quotes and it takes some arguing to get it right. ha...
So a couple things here:
1. So you went with OEM? I can't really find anybody to do OEM even the dealers around here send this work out to 3rd parties and those 3rd parties say they do a handful of OEM each year and rest are aftermarket. Of course none have likely done a Type R yet, but idk...
I searched, but most were old threads with no recent posts. I am betting more people have replaced their windshields in the past 2 years so wondering what the current thoughts are. Got hit with guessing a rock and it did a good starburst, but shortly after before I could even get pulled off at...
Wish I was closer I would for sure do the 1K. Can't find any local around here and when I do they are either damaged or the person wants to trade them for gold. haha I keep seeing deals I would do, but like you they are all way to far away. ha
I mean if you want to try and sell on eBay for that price go for it, but around here from what I have seen they go for as low as $600 for fair condition to around $1200 for new condition. Being in Cali might help you bring higher than normal as it seems everything is more $$$ out that way with...
:postpics: NO NOOOOO I am kidding. haha
Don't care to offer nudes the internet might not be able to handle all that. haha So I will do $600.
Is the OP ever coming back or did they abandon this thread as it got out of control. ha
300 plus shipping.
Where is the OP. haha Accept my deal! haha
On a real note since OP is MIA has anybody been involved in shipping wheels and tires? I am not finding any reasonable priced sets local and seeing many in the rest of the country. What kinda price am I looking for shipping 1 or a...
hahah Well since you are poking around and we aren't on your thread right now I will post what I sent you in privette message... I did that so that if you found somebody to lazy to search to verify prices you might get a lucky sale and steal some extra cash... The exact OEM brand new tires on...
Wish you were closer. People around here want like $1500+ for a set... Hell 1K for curb rash set... I have family in Dallas, but not sure I can convince them to go to Austin to pick them up. haha Good luck with sale, but if I were local these would be sold!
Very brave sole. I would ask for payment up front so you aren't operating a manual driving school or Type R test drive event just for buyers to back out. haha
Good luck with sale though and keep me posted on wheels should stocks not go with car like we discussed. Thanks!
