Even my winter tires on a warm spring day is quieter than the OEM tires. Definitely a tire noise issue for this car.
  2. Replacing the cloth center console/armrest with leather?

It been holding up well for the first month. No peeling, doesn't scratch easily. It doesn't get super hot when in direct sunlight for me personally like leather would. Not a bad purchase. Just wish the pieces were larger and more forgiving when stapling them back into place. There not alot of...

  8. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

I went with H11B 5500K bulbs, slightly blue on initial warm up but I think the white output match the day light running lights spot on. I got the HD which connects the power to the battery and just use the OEM light wire as switch. Personal peace of mind preference, better to isolate the system...

I ordered the HID off of Prolightz for $205 with free shipping. They are for the low beams. Very simple plug and play system. You won't need the rubber gasket and the two exposed wire in the kit. 10. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Recently installed the Morimoto Elite 35 Watt HID kit. Aimed it lower just enough not to blind the drivers in the garage. Need to find a empty parking lot to adjust it correctly. Haven't driven the car much but the output in distance has doubled from stock. Also waiting for my Fortin EVO-ONE to...
  11. "Must Have" upgrades on a new Civic

Your milage may vary especially with lights. The good thing is that you can return the product if you don't like it. I tried a OPT7 LED kit myself and it was brighter than the halogen but the distance it threw were the roughly the same to me. That's why I returned it and went for a HID kit.

  14. "Must Have" upgrades on a new Civic

Alot of people switch from Halogen to LED then to HID. The LED perform worst than the halogen since it throws light at a shorter distance. This is the general reason people go to HID.
  15. "Must Have" upgrades on a new Civic

Needs: HID or Better Halogen Bulbs. LED glare and have less distance than OEM lights. Get Husky or Weather Tech or Tuxmat (if you're Canadian) to protect your carpet. Clear wrap the front, you'll get so many rock chips and clear wrap the bumper near the trunk opening to prevent scratches...
  16. Replacing the cloth center console/armrest with leather?

With the eBay product, you get adhesive tape, some plastic trim removers and the three pieces of leather wraps. Removing the pieces are easy, pull upwards on the side pieces not sideways. For the center piece there two screws by the handle if you slide it forward. After the screws are removed...
  17. Replacing the cloth center console/armrest with leather?

The cloth held with staples, easy to take off the staples but time consuming. Staple the leather and when your lease is over just undo the staples.
  18. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

I found a Evo One and Hon2 harness on Ebay for $170. I would still need to buy a remote for the Evo one and the Flash update program correct?
  19. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

  20. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

After a year of driving the car, I finally applied a screen protector. Now the screen protector protects the scratches and the screen.
