That may not be entirely accurate as I can get my Ktuner Bluetooth module to connect most of the time. So it has to be certain units that wont work. We just haven't found it yet.
Update: The Ktuner module doesn't always connect to the head unit via Bluetooth. Its pretty random. Sometimes it will connect on startup just fine and other times it will connect after the head unit displays the right rear view camera when making a turn. I have the Tuner View app auto launching...

No Hondata or Ktuner will not fix this issue. I bought a Ktuner thinking it might fix it but it did not. It was not my only reason of buying one but I was hoping it would fix it. Also there is a TSB out for your 2016 surging issue...

Yes, I have the ECO button set to stock tune and it does the same thing. It also did it before the tune. I would also like to state the car did NOT do this when I first brought the car home. Thanks

I agree it will take Honda noticing there is a problem, however this does require a tech at a dealership to take notice first and actually talking to Honda assuring them that it is a problem to begin with. Maybe the tech was having a bad day the second time around. I have a phone call planned...
