I've been trying to determine if econ gives me better mileage for a while now. From all the times I've done my work commute with and without econ, I see no improvement in fuel economy. Sometimes I feel like I get worse mileage with econ on. The car feels like its pulling extra weight with it...

I have this too! Drives me nuts when it happens. It sounds like a relay is tripping constantly. I can't pinpoint where within the dash it's coming from. It seems to happen when the weather is cold, but the past couple of weeks I have not noticed this happening despite some cold temperatures.
