I've got a touring 2016 with LED headlamps and they are wonderful. Not sure how aftermarket LEDs are going to workout in the normal reflector housing for standard headlights. Have considered LEDs for my motorcycle, but same concerns.... they won't concentrate the light enough with reflector...
Use the key in the keyfob to open the door. Your alarm may or may not go off, but opening the door seems to reset it to normalcy. My wife's problem was the key turned the lock cylinder, but it was not connected to the lock inside the door. It is now.
Ok, so wife got car back from Honda today. The service report says "reinstalled lock rod on door lock actuator". I'm thinking it was never hooked up to start with. As for the original problem of trunk locking up the entire car and key fob, no TSBs. As for our GPS loosing lock, no fix. And...
Just happened to my wife tonight. She opened and closed the trunk, the parking lights came on and stayed on. Key fob not working. After about 30 minutes, the parking lights went off. Tried to use real key in the fob on the driver's door it would not unlock.... seems to not be connected to...
A funny to add here... went to dealer Friday to get oil changed in my other honda. While I was there, I spoke to the service manager about my wife's 2016 civic's GPS issues. I told him the GPS would lose lock and had us off the road which screwed up the turn by turn routing. He asked if my...
My guess is that it is a multi channel format (DTS5.1?) Reason being, when in HD radio mode, the rear channels have different audio than the front. So that kinda rules out two channel audio, eh? There was a song on the radio the other day that had the singers in the front and music in the rear.
Wife's 2016 Touring has a GPS problem. It loses lock periodically. Did it to me in south florida a month ago and she took it to the dealer, they installed a firmware update. Then last week we took the car on a trip and saw it do it twice. Got pictures of it on cell phone. Anyone else...
I would love to see the seam in the concrete of my garage floor as I pull in. As it is, I pull up to "the spot" and put the car in reverse to see if I'm clear of the door.
The civic is my wife's car, so I'm not as familiar as if it were my daily driver. Yesterday, she was in the passing lane with a cop (hee hee) tailgating her (yes, really). As she and the cop were overtaking a group of cars, one of them decided to cut over in front of her and the auto braking...
This is happening to my wife's car on flat land at a steady state. If we give a little gas or let off, it stops surging. I have a 2015 Fit with CVT and don't have this issue at all. It may be a tuning issue for the civic, but it not a cvt issue.
Don't know how to describe this.... The car is my wife's daily driver and she's been complaining about it for a few days, so yesterday we drove an hour away and I got to feel it myself.
Over 50mph, very often over 70. Seen this happen at 2000 rpm, seen it happen at 2600rpm.
There is a...
We've just gotten a touring version and when I cranked up the car today, the head unit locked up. It only displayed the background and none of the touch screen buttons would work. Even the backup camera would not come up when i put the car in reverse. Got a picture of it to show the dealer if...
My 2015 Fit interrups Siri when I turn on the blinker and activate the right side camera. I assume it'll be the same in the civic once we get that car.
