  1. Coolant Reservoir Failure & Aftermath

Thanks for the information, that's good to know and look out for. What's your car's mileage?
  2. Help me choose a 10th gen Civic

Yep, same comments as above. Although I drive a 1.0, the car is reliable and comfortable, even after 6 years and 60k kms. The only thing I'd check is if it has had the A/C condenser replaced, as these can fail.
  3. A/C System Fail in European Cars

2017 1.0 Elegance 59 000 km Took it in for regular maintenance and they say they'd replace the condenser in a few weeks (part delivery time) as a warranty case, because the old one has spots on it. No leakage, no decreace in efficiency.
  4. A/C System Fail in European Cars

    What were the symptoms?
  5. Honda Civic French

Bienvenue! C'est un beau Civic, je pense que c'est le meme spec que le mien- c'est a dire un 1.0 Comfort. Welcome! That's a good-looking Civic- I think it's the same spec as mine- a 1.0 Comfort.
  6. Ok gas prices are getting ridiculous....Regular in this car?

Greetings from Estonia, where I just filled up on 98 RON (that's 93 in USA) and paid EUR 2.199 per litre, which works out to USD 10.43 per gallon.
  7. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Switched the 17" OEM winter wheels for summer wheels, which got a refurb over the winter.
  8. Rattling noise on the passenger side

Check the slot where the dash meets the A-pillar- have a passenger hold it and see if it affects anything. I've noticed that (especially in winter) my dash develops a rattle where the dash meets the A-pillar, mostly on the driver's side. Probably something to do with the plastics being brittle...
  9. What brand oil do you use (in europe) ?

I still go to the dealership for maintenance and they use Valvoline SynPower MST C3 5W30
  10. What's the best I can get with a phone camera

All of the above applies, there really are no shortcuts. I'd add Snapseed to the list of apps to try out. It offers pretty basic and raw tools to get you started and understand how images can be manipualted, but which are still advanced enough to keep using once you've got the hang of things.
  11. Gaz price

Here in Estonia petrol broke the magical 2€/litre barrier for the first time ever today. Current prices are 2.049 (regular), 2.099 (super) and 2.059 (diesel). So that's 2€ or 2.20$ per litre or 8.32$/gallon. Check this link for wages and such in this tiny and faraway country of ours.
  12. 19in wheels.??

MAK Wolf with black mirror finish, 19x8" ET40 235/35/19 tires Eibach Pro-Kit (25/20mm)
  13. Where to buy Eibach Pro-Kit in Europe?

    Nope.
  14. Where to buy Eibach Pro-Kit in Europe?

No camber kit- just had a regular alignment after installation and no issues so far. Can't comment on that code you posted- possibly they're meant for the US market? I chose mine from Eibach website and after choosing my car I was left with the choice to go with the Pro-Kit or Sportline.
  15. Germans take apart a 1.5T at 60k miles. And it's spotless?

"Scheisse! This is way better than the GTI- Volkswagen cannot compete with this practicality nor the excellent engine! I just hope nothing happens to the Type-R so we can finish this test..."
  16. Trading civic type r for a new yaris gr4

Having tried the GR Yaris in our slushy-snowy conditions, can confirm it's a proper rocket. Never mind the fact it's based on a Yaris- the engine-drivetrain-gearbox combo is unbeatable. And I do love the unbalanced sound of a 3-cylinder unit. Go for it!
  17. Rain sensing wipers: really that bad?

Two things to note: you can turn the sensitivity all the way down on the rotating thingie on the stalk, so it won't be aggressive, hopefully alleviating the crazy wiping action a bit. The second (and more important) bit is: keep the wiper blades clean at all times. As dust and sand build up on...
  18. Hello from Europe ;) civic x hatch

Before I saw the pictures I though you'd got the new 4WD GRMN... The previous one is a hoot as well.
  19. Civic 2017 Executive vs 2020 Elegance

You won't be missing any essentials in the Elegance, plus it's got that new car smell :) However, if you must have keyless entry/start, adaptive dampers, premium audio or the sunroof, then spring for the Executive. If it were my choice, I'd get the new car, since the price difference is not...
