Hi! Tried playing with my settings recently and noticed i cant adjust the launch rpm's.......... (ktuner) It will let me switch maps, but when i hold the clutch down, it just goes to the same map switch 1,2,3..... Also my cruise control doesnt cut out when clutch pressed.... but i thought that...

yeah the Ebay one wont be on there long. just too thick with the forms in it. cant even go through the car wash without catching the wheel guides :rolleyes: will prob go back with OEM.

Went for the ebay special black plastic one and dont love it. Too thick and given im lowered that extra inch just means i'll hit even more stuff. Plus the bolts etc.... too heavy duty. Just more chance of damaging something important. Ive trimmed the excess off the bolts now from what in pic

Options out there right now arent great. Its cheap ebay or overkill that looks so strong if i catch it its going rip off something that matters. Oem had some purposeful air flow bits too which dont seem to be concidered on replacements.

Did u have to raise idle rpm? I put perrin motor mount inserts in, which.... i may remove. But, its idles a little rough. Soon as i had a couple hundred rpm, smooth as silk. It makes sense, not as much rotational mass etc. Did u raise it and if so what to? Thx.

line is bled and all good, clutch feel is good. i think i figured it. if i back off the clutch just a little, its fine.... so i think its just going too far! so.... (i have a lot of experience mechanically, just not with cars). i need to reduce to travel length...? do i adjust the stop bolt so...

Yeah just got it. Just needed a more stable base under it on the jack and then a real good shake about and i popped on. Phew!!!! Lol Now the rebuild begins!!! 🤞

Hi, elbow deep in my act clutch and flywheel job. All looks good, just trying to get the trans mounted back on. Alignment tool slips in and out ok, when i lift the trans it seem pretty well lined up and even all round. Just cant get the spline to slide in. I assume its the spline....... around...

Noticed mine was going down a while back. On my commute was around 36 when i got it, was down to 32....... so drove a little lighter for 2 days, got 36 again, ?. Long term avg i get around 34.

Im at 87,000 mile and the stock clutch is slipping, not real bad yet but i have to be a little more careful. Running Ktuner 19/23 tune. plan is to keep flywheel and find a clutch kit..... find being the operative word. All seem to be out of stock! Q: do you think at those miles the flywheel...
