That's interesting I never thought to do that. I would just activate Siri like I usually would on my phone and speak. Next time, I will activate Siri then hold the mic button down, see if it does anything Thanks for the tip!

I'm going to install my HID kit soon and figured I could do the horn too while I was at it. Used the horn today and I almost didn't even hear it with the radio playing and the other cars I'm just waiting for one other person to do it before I attempt to lol

I'm not using carplay. Maybe that's why I am trying to avoid using carplay

Good to know, same thing for me. The problem I guess is the microphone Siri just isn't recognizing me talking. It's frustrating while driving, receive a text, and try to respond with Siri but it refuses to work. I haven't tried it yet via USB so gotta give that a go
