Agreed, I love the rear camera. I usually have it in āwide angleā mode, especially when backing up because it picks up cross traffic. For some reason, the lines and angles of the car make it hard to judge sometimes. But I find the rear camera is great.
Have any of you experienced an issue with LKAS not finding lanes? Happened to me tonight on the way home from a Super Bowl party. It wouldnāt lock in on the lane markings. I was going approx 80 km/h (50 mph). It was a little foggy but it has worked in worse conditions. When I got home, I cleaned...
Yes. Itās a known issue on the forum, but ridiculously hard to reproduce. The only time it happens is when I open the trunk and then close it again while the car is locked. So, I donāt do that anymore. Lol.
Interesting, that almost sounds like a different (albeit related) issue. Iāve been locked out 4 or 5 times, but the physical key has worked each time.
Iām thankful for the rain sensing system because thatās the reason why ended up trying Rain X, and I havenāt looked back since. My wipers are still brand new and theyāll likely stay that way for a long time.
Thereās nothing to tie the trunk lid down when youāre transporting something that sticks out the back of the trunk. I had to loop the twine around the licence plate holders. I guess I could have also looped it around the entire trunk lid, but still. No hooks, nothing.
You guys are going to cringe, but I usually just eyeball my tires every now and then, and measure them with a tire pressure gauge every couple of months. Theyāve been surprisingly consistent though, Iāve only needed to add/remove air 2-3 times in the 4 years Iāve owned the car, usually around...
Exactly this. Agree 100%. How do you know they are discontinuing it? Most manufacturers are adding cameras to give you a 360 degree view and even a birds-eye view. Why would Honda go in the opposite (and backwards) direction?
Same experience for me with LKAS. No bouncing effect. Works on not so light curves. Fights me pretty good when I try to leave the lane.
Definitely not meant to drive on itās own, but it is a pretty good driving aid.
