  1. No refresh for 2019 Honda Civic

Just by feeling, I'm not sure because it makes cheap plastic creaky sounds when I push the buttons. I have a friend who has a '13 civic with similar controls and hers still work.
  2. Not sure where to go from here?

Very nice! I get excited when I see flashy sports cars on the street, Corvettes included. Congrats!
  3. No refresh for 2019 Honda Civic

As a person with a volume knob, I don't think I have ever touched that thing unless I was a passenger. I use the steering wheel controls a lot more. As for the muting, holding down the - side of the button will mute it eventually.
  4. No refresh for 2019 Honda Civic

dang it... I thought I saw it in the manual though....
  5. No refresh for 2019 Honda Civic

I have not been successful in getting the swipe mute thing to work.... Like some others have said here, I do have volume knobs, but I find myself using my steering wheel controls a lot. I never had to experience the touchscreen climate control, but I do find the knobs for that convenient since I...
  6. No refresh for 2019 Honda Civic

@Zooropa82 I just reread my reply and just realized what I meant to convey is that models that are only getting a refresh and not a redesign (or had a redesign prior to 2019) for 2019 won't have it standard across the board. Honda is one of the last car companies to have any Sensing suite...
  7. No refresh for 2019 Honda Civic

Standard as in all trims have it. Yes, I am aware if you get a higher trim (generally EX or higher) Honda, Sensing is included, I was lucky it was available on my LX hatch, some models don't even give you the option of adding the sensing suite. Plus the 2018 Fit had Sensing EX or higher. On the...
  8. No refresh for 2019 Honda Civic

I doubt it, other 2019 Honda models that have come out does not have Sensing standard yet. I'm guessing that Honda isn't going to make it standard until after the model redesign like the Accord.
  9. Hard to see oil level on dipstick...

I haven't had any oil consumption, rather I have an issue with fuel dilution. Most of the time my oil is over the top mark with a strong smell of gas. I noticed that when I go on longer trips the dilution isn't as bad.
  10. Hard to see oil level on dipstick...

That's what my '99 Civic had. Honda went and attempted to fix something that ain't broke.
  11. Hard to see oil level on dipstick...

Definitely miss the dipstick in my old Civic where there wasn't a random orange plastic part and just the steel stick with holes. It is really hard to read using the holes on the plastic, but if you turn the meter on the sides where there aren't holes, you can see the level better. Then I track...
  12. Civic Lx owners knowing what you know now would you still get the LX?

I have an LX hatch, but I don't regret not getting a higher trim. I just needed a vehicle that could get me from point A to point B and wanted the functionality of the hatchback and that's what I got. Like you, I wasn't really looking for a fancy infotainment system or the sunroof. The fake...
  13. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Honestly, it was probably more like half a day. I kinda accepted that it would stay clean long, but at the very least I got the layer of wax underneath the layer of dust. I do have to admit, I don't have it as bad as you, PMM does hide the dirt pretty well, you have to get up close in order to...
  14. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Same with my Polished Metal. It was so shiny when I finished, but after one day, she looks like how she did before her wash.
  15. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Gave her a wash and wax this weekend, the paint on the hood looks messed up, but it is actually a reflection of the clouds. She is already dustly though, I guess that's what happens when you don't have a garage and there is construction right next to the parking lot at work.
  16. Is your 10th Gen your DD?

Mine is my DD and I drove it throughout the entire winter, which was abnormally long where I am (ended maybe last week).
  17. Anyone looking for a CW CTR?

One of my friends was very firm with this dealer and they gave him a great deal, granted it wasn't a Type R he bought. My guess is that since it is a relatively small town, they are banking on the fact that people might be willing to pay more for the Type R, but they have sold 2 in the past...
  18. Anyone looking for a CW CTR?

I was browsing a dealer's website and found this: https://www.hondaofchampaign.com/auto/new-2018-honda-civic-touring-savoy-il/26940058/ Maybe somebody would like to take advantage of it.
