  1. Car on for hours.

If you're not modded, just do this. It's cheap and a pretty easy install. It made a huge difference when my only mod was a Hondata with the +9 tune. I was getting heat-soaked like crazy and in 100 degree weather it was a nightmare--the grille cooled things down so much, night and day man. As...
  2. “Needed” mods/upgrades?

    Flex fuel kit.
  3. 10th Gen Civic 1/4 Mile Times

Flex fuel kit with custom tune, lighter wheels/better tires, downpipe, rear motor mount. I wouldn't bother with things like IC or other cooling mods right now if you're just going for 1/4 mile reduction.
  4. Official RV6 R365 turbo thread

I haven't bought a single RV6 product ever, but the way they've handled this has been pretty amazing when you think about it. 1. Problem with ONE user 2. Problem identified 3. Several prophylactic fixes offered to all testers As others have said, this is for a BETA. Some risk comes with the...
  5. ACT Clutch + Flywheel Review

A Skyline? Did he know you were racing? If so that's awesome--I'm not trolling, I just find this pretty hard to believe. Can you give more detail?
  6. Si 2020 Si 0 miles block build thread

One wild ass guess--if the weights are very far off from OEM, you could have some very bad (and even dangerous) harmonics.
  7. 1.5T Downpipe v. Exhaust

Get the DP. It's not loud, there's no drone, and you'll have an actual performance increase.
  8. MHI-TD03 Turbo

No truer words, my friend lol.
  9. MHI-TD03 Turbo

Sorry not laughing at you, laughing at your video.
  10. MHI-TD03 Turbo

Nothing higher than 30 weight oil is even recommended by 27WON for the W1, which is a step up from the TD03, so I'm sitting here scratching my head even more. . .
  11. Benefit to adding 1-2 gallons of E85 to stock car?

This is a broken record, and totally untrue. Octane is measured differently in different regions of the world. Long story short: Euro 98 octane is essentially US 93 octane.
  12. Benefit to adding 1-2 gallons of E85 to stock car?

E85 has about 30% lower energy content than gasoline, but it averages around 33% cheaper, so it's still a win for expense per distance driven.
  13. When is getting Dyno Tuned worth it?

Would be a waste of money getting a custom and (even moreso) a dyno tune with what you're planning right now. If you do a downpipe or better yet, flex fuel, you'd get way more out of a custom tune.
  14. How does everyone fund their builds?

I take cash out of my HSA, have a credit card my wife doesn't know about, and PayPal credit my wife thinks is solely to pay taxes (6 months interest free! ? ).
  15. Ethanol fuel

The highest ethanol content in E85 is really only ever 82%. The highest I've ever observed is 80%, but usually it's between 70 and 80%. If a certain amount of E85 is going to give you over 15% ethanol. . . use less E85. . . It's really easy to calculate what will give you E15, there's even...
  16. Understeer Help

It means braking as you're beginning the turn, rather than doing all your braking before the turn.
  17. Is an intercooler worth it for my type of driving? (CVT)

Well there's the rub--I guess I should've put a disclaimer that it's the one thing I recommended that could possibly shorten the life of a component of your car, but the jury still seems to be out on if it actually hurts the turbo in any real way. Here's the way I look at it: yes, you MIGHT be...
  18. Is an intercooler worth it for my type of driving? (CVT)

Get a honeycomb grille for your heat issues. Other mods for heat that are cheap are gold wrapping the turbo inlet pipe and maybe even your MAF. Up to 70% distilled water in your radiator is another cheap and (obviously) very easy mod. I've seen great results from Water Wetter as well. Turbo...
