yes, I think that's what we're both trying to communicate to everyone, there is no possible way you'd even be able to get the lock nut on if the lever was threaded in two different directions
The only thing I see depicted is a normal shift lever and a damaged one, there's no possible way you would have even been able to put the lock nut on in the first place if they were different thread sets. I can't tell if you're trolling or not, seriously
This post was created to get people spun up about a problem that doesn't really exist. The pic referenced obviously shows stripped threads, Honda has used the same design for decades, it would be counterproductive to change anything unless you're purposely trying to confuse someone.
So I just got this kit and I'm having an issue removing the original cargo floor, it seem that there are two hooks that are mounted on top of the cover. Anyone know how to remove them? I assume they just snap off but I don't want to break anything

In terms of the rear- the single OEM screw fastener is located close to the bumper skin and will install as before...
