It doesn't have to do with CarPlay. I have CarPlay disabled and my Pandora app was doing this as well over Bluetooth. It was super annoying. I hadn't opened Pandora in several months probably, but it started playing every time I turned my car on. I deleted Pandora and have had no more issues.

I completely agree. If future Honda tech does not improve, I will not be buying another. The car is otherwise nice enough. I plan to keep this car for a while though (assuming I don't get overly frustrated with tech issues), so perhaps Honda will improve by the time I need a new car.

You're probably right! I meant "crazy kids" in more of a sarcastic manner to represent all daredevil drivers. I live near a college campus, so it might be more kids doing it around here, but that's only because there aren't as many older people in general.

I haven given up trying to turn off the volume gestures. It turns itself back on every few days. I just leave it turned on now and deal with the fact that my fat thumbs will occasionally touch it and change the volume accidentally. I really hope they fix this in a future update.
