Lots of polarizing opinions on this post of people who are happy and unhappy. Some people just want different things out of their car. I finally made the switch to a 2016 V6 Accord Coupe and I haven't looked back since. I may miss the gas mileage a little bit, but in terms of how the car drives...
Thanks for the reply! Took it to the dealer and they said the fuses were blown. Luckily it was covered under warranty and everything was fixed. I got some lights that are the OEM halogens on ebay (dont know what happened to my old ones).
When turning on my lights at night, my front light work but my back lights won't. The brake light and turn signals all work fine but this doesn't.
Any help or advice would be appreciated. I have a sub linked up to the battery, so I hope that shouldn't really contribute. I also used LED lights...
You have to cut off the two nubs to get it to fit to the ASEAN's housing-- I don't really have the tools. I tried with an xacto knife and it wasn't working.
Also, I don't really know how to remove the markers from their housing. I was so rough with a screwdriver that one of them is actually...
I tried to install them but ended up giving halfway.
I'm willing to sell both for $90 including shipping and paypal invoice, I just want to make up what I lost.
Yeah man, It's from the brake light. I followed the DIY tutorial on adding the sorboethane little nubs into the crevices of the back window, and it seems to have fixed my issues. Try it out!
Hi everyone,
I've been having problems using the iPod option when hooking music up to the car. I prefer the old school way of plugging in an iPod and using an AUX cord, but with the USB issue and a lightning cord, I can successfully hook up my phone to the car without much of a hassle...
I got mine in place today. Definitely took care of the rattle!
I used an xacto knife to push the rubber into place.. I didn't realize how small the opening between the rear window and passenger seat's. It really slopes like a coupe haha.
The same happened to me. Was on a 6 hour road trip, decided for a pit stop around the 2.5 hour mark. Got back into the car, no matter how many times I restart it, the screen stayed black. After I made the rest of the trip (thank goodness the climate responded to the on/off physical buttons), I...
Hi everyone,
Let me first start by saying this is a pretty nice car. I've gotten a lot of compliments about the exterior ("Is that a civic? Wow, it doesn't look like one"), interior ("looks pretty luxurious"), and overall ride quality.
The only real annoyance I have is the CVT lag. The most...
Sick! My sub actually slid around a lot (we have it in the same place) so the place actually gave me a velcro strip to put on the sub and on the mat. Try and see if that'll help it not to move around too much. But definitely have to agree with you-- it literally makes a world of difference. Load...
I've never actually heard of someone getting pulled over explicitly for their tint. However, because I don't like risking legal issues, I decided to go with the ol' 35% front (legal) and 15% back. I'd say the peace of mind is worth sacrificing the coolness factor.
Yeah, weird. He told me $200 for the grille, $80 for the side markers. Guess he wanted a little extra to keep in his pockets :x he's still cheaper than the ebay seller though, so I can't complain.
No sir, they're from coolracingsport. They sell cheaper than the ebay seller-- and one of the members here on this forum said that their shipment broke and only got a honda pillow offered as compensation. Here's their facebook. If you scroll down a bit, you'll see the "clear lens" and then you...
Clear side markers = $80
Black grille = $200
Luckily shipping was included into the cost, but still seems a bit steep. Oh well.
And just like you, I bought a lottt of cleaning supplies (wash mitt, two buckets, grit guard, car soap, wax, microfibre towels, x2 drying towels), a subwoofer, and a...
Just bought a black grille and clear side markers from the ASEAN line of the civics.. I can't believe I jumped on an impulse buy. I'm sure I won't regret it.
I also washed and waxed my car for the first time today. What a struggle.. but man it shines.
Anyone else have any recommendations or products that they've tried that works? I'm trying to get something via amazon so I get it ASAP... these water spots make me cry. Even after waxing, they're still there.
I told myself I wouldn't buy anything else after I've bought the clear side markers, washing/waxing supplies, a steering wheel cover, subwoofer, and a tint..... but I want to keep buying more. I am thinking of getting the black glossy grill. Someone please talk me out of it, my wallet is crying...
