Which size, width, offset etc. would you guys recommend for tracking?
I could think about a set of trackday rims, only. Including slicks. Tracking the CRX, the most fun upgrade were slicks.
Ok, I have 18s in winter and 20s OEM in summer. I want to keep my CTR stock including the wheels. I'm too old for all that tuning stuff :-)
Either those 20s work on track or I won't do tracking at all. But I could change the rubber if necessary.
Todd, which rubbers did you use on track? OEM? I think those are Continental something SportContact 6?
After racing my old CRX for 10 years or so I'm hesitating to track my new CTR. Three times the power, several hundred kilograms more weight, 30 years of technical evolution. Huuuge rims, huuge...
Honda Switzerland says it's a 46 Liter tank. My biggest fillup was 44.6 Liter 2 weeks ago.
Counter was at 0 km left. And I was still driving 5 or 6 km until I pulled over to the gas station.
But I think the counter depends on your current driving condition. It's a preview calculation how long...
Actually it was "Honda Fitta". Fitta is the bad word.
They changed it to "Fit" for the US and for China and to "Jazz" for Europe and parts of Asia and Australia.
Tagline for the "Fitta" was "small on the outside but big on the inside".
A great story :-)
It's a replacement. Got the OEM parts in my basement. OK, the carbon fiber parts are OEM as well :)
I mean the PMM painted mirror caps are in my basement. Which isn't really a basement because it's on the same level as the flat :) Which isn't a flat flat because it's more of a duplex appartment :-)
In Italy there‘s a company which builds race cars for that series.
http://www.jasmotorsport.com/racing-cars/honda-civic-tcr-2018
But seems it‘s based on the FK7.
In Germany, there‘s a Touring Car series which is called „TCR Germany“. Over here it sounds cool if you use english terms ;-) So, instead of calling it „TCR Deutschland“ they call it TCR Germany.
It‘s not a german safety car but the „TCR Germany Safety Car“. Most probably Honda sponsored that...
Came from a black 1990 CRX (I think you know it as the DOHC ZC engine version) and a white 2008 Civic Hybrid.
The R is another universe, of course. I owned the CRX for 20 Years and the Hybrid for 10 Years. It was time to clear the garage. Switch to one vehicle, sporty and economical at the same...
Yes, Switzerland is beautiful and great to live in.
But, hey, your country is fantastic as well. 2015 I travelled through Florida in 4 weeks. Very nice. And in the west you have mountains as well. Some of them higher than ours. The Matterhorn is 4478m, all our peaks are under 5000m, so not that...
In Switzerland, outside the villages, you could usually drive up to 80km/h (50mph). But on that road that's hardly possible. Indeed, I didn't push it hard that day because my beloved woman was sitting next to me :-) It was more a relaxed driving experience in comfort mode :-) Was my first time...
Crossing the Swiss Alps: Mountain "Gotthard".
It's how you get from the german part of Switzerland to the southern "italian style" part.
This is the old paved route from the south to the north, called "Tremola".

Dirty but it was fun...
