  1. 2018 Honda Accord Discussion

I'm 1 of the 2 testers for these tunes. It is still in BETA right now but Monday they will be releasing Stage 1,2 and 3 to the public. I run the stage 2 on 93 octane and the car is NASTY. It get up to speed effortlessly. Can't wait to upload the stage 3. Hondata said this is pretty much the...
  2. 2018 Honda Accord Discussion

I can't really get on it, only have 200 miles on it but just as far as half throttle goes, yeah. It accelerates much easier than the Civic did. Once I run out this shitty 87 octane and start running 93, it will get a bit peppier too. There is a loss of almost 20whp from Hondata's dyno sheet when...

I traded my 18 Si in on an 18 Accord Sport 2.0T 6MT and I fckn love it. I miss the gauges and the boost gauge but overall it's an amazing car. I put in to be a tester for Hondata because they plan on doing the new Accord very soon, so I hope I hear something back.

If I had the extra coin I might have went with the Touring just because all of the extra features and the 10 speed auto. I think once the tuning software drops for the 2.0T, the car will really wake up. You gotta think, the Civic is a turd until you throw a new map at it so hopefully they can...

That's kind of an unfair comparison lol. I traded a 320whp 9th for the 10th stock and wasn't impressed either BUT that's unfair. Just like your Ktuner Civic vs the all stock Accord. If you look at your Hatch stock vs the Accord stock , the Accord would impress you. I know for a fact that the...

Well if you wanna look at it as in neg equity, about $2000. I don't care either way because I got the car I wanted in the first place and right at about the same payments as initially quoted. The paperwork and the hits my credit took to do it hurt worse than anyting.

Yeah the 1.5T is just too small I think for the Accord. I understand they both are using this engine for the fuel ratings and the masses that purchase both cars BUT you have to feather the gas to get that mileage. Just not worth it to me honestly. The CVT does it's job well but I'm not a fan...
  8. 35 days after putchase, Civic Si getting traded in. Bye Bye Si!

I had 800 miles on it when I traded it in. 120 of those came from the dealer driving the car from Indianapolis back to our hometown dealership. Yeah I don't know the difference in the base $24k Accord and the $31k Accord Sport that I purchased but from the pictures, the interiors are different...

I will definitely call and ask them about this because I asked as soon as I got in the car and the salesman said no to having it. I even clicked on it today to check myself and nothing came up, like it needs a subscription. Maybe this is just an error on their part. Thanks for the info buddy.

Yeah mine shifts like butter, the Si was very rough and shifted like shit, half the time would lock me out and I did not enjoy that at all.

Yes, when you first purchase the car you get it for the first 3 months free. Then the option to extend. They didn't have this for the Accord Sport unfortunately.

The interior is a major upgrade in terms of quality and feel. BUT I do not like not having a boost gauge and no sport button and active dampening. There is the econ button for economy which I will never use and all the sensing BS I turned off as soon as I got in it today. The leg room with the...
  13. 35 days after putchase, Civic Si getting traded in. Bye Bye Si!

Yeah it was $30 more a month than the original quote for the 2.0T. The Si was almost $400 a month, the Accord is $530. Originally I was told $500 a month for the Accord so I'd Imagine the extra $30 a month came from the loss on the Civic. I had to pay nothing out of pocket, just went and swapped...

Great community you guys have here. Learned a lot about my car, its capabilities and what an amazing car it can become. But after having something heavily modded the last 3 years as a daily, it's just too mild for me. So on to the next thing. 2018 Accord Sport 2.0T 6speed manual. Hate that I...
  15. Lamin X + LED causing green hue....wtf

So I removed my front bumper to install my Yellow Lamin X covers today on my fogs and installed new LED lights so they would be brighter than the stock Halogens. Problem is after I turned them on, they are greenish. So I'm stuck either going back to Halogens or leaving them greenish. Anyone...
  16. Rear Suspension Clunking

I have a 2018 and it does it.
  17. Rear Suspension Clunking

That sounds like too small of a group to me. If I just bought mine, and some people have had theirs a while, I can't imagine the group is that small. Doesn't seem right does it?
  18. Rear Suspension Clunking

I'm working so I can't check mine. Still gonna take it in. Complete bs this new with this issue.
  19. Rear Suspension Clunking

I'm gonna take mine in monday. My car has 700 miles on it, just got it in December and it clunks bad. I thought rear struts were blown because it rides like a board on wheels when cold. Been beating my back up pretty good lately.
