Man.. that sucks. Even mine, I keep going to Honda dealership to repair same A/C problem again and again. Luckily, I bought extended warranty. You might need to think buying another car. 2016 and 2017 civic suck.
I had my condenser replaced third time last week. This is a bullshit. Mine had cold air coming out but made chirping noise. My dealership found out there was major leak. They said they put the updated condenser but I will see how it goes. Usually it started making chirping noise within 2 months...
Ur rep is lying to you. My 17 civic, I replaced condensor twice already. After the second replacement, that fuking noise came up again in a month. They diagnose it and said my car has knocking sound as well so this time they will change short engine block. They just replaced the engine block and...
Man, you need to change dealership.
Go find another dealership which has pretty good mechanics. The dealership I visit everytime, changed my ac control units (condersor, hose and etc). This time, my 2017 civic has knocking problem as well as ac problem again. So they are replacing my short...
Long story to short,
I have replaced my condensor on my 2017 civic twice in a year due to chirp sounds and vibration sounds from engine bay. And the same problem happened to me again recently.
I went to dealership to let them figure our what is going on.
Now, what they said, there is a...
Hey guys.
on this summer which was June or July, my dealership replaced whole ac unit for my 2017 civic.
it was basically every ac compartments (ac clutch, compressor, hose etc..)
On this December, the weird sound happened again and my dealership replaced ac compressor again.
So, just be...
You better go to another dealership to check it out. My dealership diagnose the problem and changed everything without questioning. If you havent had any car accidents, it must be under warranty. Mine was under warranty of course.
Mine had decent cold air however whenever I turned on A/C, I...
I see. They replaced my a/c clutch kit, compressor, a/c field coil, discharge hose, suction hose and condensor.
Basically everything.
Mine was also making a rattling noise when accelerate but not anymore.
Even it is quiter now when turn on the fan at the maximum speed. It was like tornado...
Thanks!
Yeah, I know. right?
Did you also replace your a/c unit as well?
My civic had so much problem in a year now.
I had to replace whole driver side door due to leaking at the door latch and rust.
Good thing I bought extended warranty because there are so many problems with this 10th...
My car had cold air coming out too.
How I figured their was problem, mine made a high pitch noise(kind of noise you can hear when the drive belt slipped) only when I turned my A/C on.
You should go to dealership to check it out before your bumper to bumper warranty expired.
Today, I also got my whole A/C clutch kit replaced for my 2017 civic.
My car was making a high pitch noise (I know when you turn your A/C on, it makes a noise but it was not the compressor noise) when I turned on my A/C.
They replaced bunch of stuff worth over $2,600 CAD.
Of course...
Guys. Check your front doors first.
If you check between two seals on your door, there are condensation building up and it makes your door latch rusted.
I actually had water leak from door latch, and they replaced it and fixed it.
But after they fixed it, found out there was a crack on my...
lol. That was good guess. I was checking my two other cars from Nissan. They DO NOT have this kind of rust problem. It also happened in South Korea. google "Honda Korea rust problem". And see what Honda Korea decided to do.
Hello guys.
If you think it is normal, you can just ignore my concern.
However, there are more people who do not know about this.
I need to inform this to people.
Firstly, I have 5 years old Nissan Versa and 2 and half years old Nissan Rogue.
None of them does not have rust problem like...
