Maybe this will match the thread’s title better:
“If I could change one thing about the Civic Si, it would be that its actual quality matched the manufacturer’s reputation.”
Speaker rattles.
Shitty, slow infotainment center.
Sport Mode turns off automatically.
MASSIVE panel gaps.
Nooks and crannies where water and soap hide that make washing/drying a pain in the ass.
Squeaking, squealing noises coming from wheel wells.
Typical cheap-sounding Honda engine clicking...
From your profile photo the Accord Sport rims look incredible! I wanted to see more pics but your profile is limited "This member limits who may view their full profile." Would you post some here?
I'm averaging 28/29 mpg as well. I imagine it's because we live in SoCal and we both (most likely) commute in a lot of stop and go traffic as well as climbing hills routinely. When I lived in the midwest I got much better gas mileage, bc no hills, no traffic, minimal stops.
Test drove both new cars in late 2017. The only thing I loved about the GTI was its interior.
Its exterior was also nice but the Si coupe was, I hate to say it, a lot "sexier" lol :dunno:
The Si was a ton more fun to drive too, and when you consider the price difference between them, there...
Apple seems to be working to address CarPlay issues with Hondas and LaneWatch cameras.
I reported a bug where using LaneWatch would essentially shut off my CarPlay. They fixed it really quickly in the next Beta update.
Siri still shuts off for me too when using the right blinker, I've just...
Unpopular opinion but I’ll never understand the issue with the volume control. 99% of the time the volume is controlled with the steering wheel buttons anyway, and it works perfectly fine. If a passenger thinks the volume is too loud they can just swipe down quickly on the touch panel. Small...
Did this today and went for a quick run. It sounded spot on like it used to. The weather has been cooler these past few days. It’s the only explanation I can think of.
I was under the impression the Civic Si had a sound symposer similar to the Fiesta ST and Focus ST. Not sure if that's the case or not, and I never really gave a second thought about until today..
On my way to work, and on the drive home, the Si sounded...unusually quiet...
I might be going...
Sport mode makes a huge difference when driving aggressively through twisty corners, I love that. But like others said, with bumpy roads on a casual drive Sport is usually a no go. However I have noticed that the increased throttle response makes driving in town with a bunch of red lights much...
I was a big fan of the Energy Green, especially in the original 10th gen concept images from Honda. It's a cool color.. but the red Si badges against the green paint reminded me of Christmas. I decided to go with silver because it looked great against the black grille, as well as with the red...
Maybe I’m missing something but I think you guys might be making this more difficult than it needs to be lol No need to use the screen to adjust the fan speed..
When it’s in Auto Climate just use the temperature dial.. Turning the temp way down to Lo will blast the fan.
When you’re ready for...
I'd like to upgrade the front door speakers and the sub in my coupe (or all of the speakers). I feel like I've been searching everywhere and I can't seem to find a solid answer on what size aftermarket speakers will fit into the 10th-gen Civic coupe.
Call me lazy if you'd like, but I'd really...
Yeah I have no real use for the actual tachometer now that I’ve been driving the Si for about 5,000 miles.
I hear the engine and can see how fast I’m going, so based on those metrics I can easily identify when it’s time for me to shift.
It’s a personal preference, I just like the look of...
