No issues. I didn't need camber kit because I needed aggressive camber to fit my wheels. Alignment is definitely needed and an aftermarket sway bar end link is needed as well.
Watch me get a lot of sh*t for this but I'll say it. I've driven/owned manual vehicles for awhile. Anything ranging from an economy car to an outright sports car. I get that with the civic being a budget friendly fun vehicle, it's even funner for those first time manual owners to really enjoy...
AMEN on the beers. Lol. and I agree with the paddle shifters. One time I was cut off really bad to where I almost rear ended the guy. In quick thinking I slapped the stick down to S and hit my left paddle shifter and was able to avoid a nasty accident in a split second. My wife drove the civic...
I implore you to go test drive an SI. ;) Now I know you got the hatchback like me because you most likely love the look/versatility compared to sedan/coupe but just go drive an SI and report back here. There are multiple people on here agreeing with me.
And this is mainly the point I was making. The sport manual does not feel engaging whatsoever. But that SI is a different story. I haven't driven a Type R yet but I can only imagine how much better it is.
Completely agree with you and I feel we're on the same boat. If I was extremely adamant about a manual, I would've chose an SI off the bat. But I was actually adamant about a blue sport hatchback (LOL). Good thing I have a friend that let's me drive his coupe SI. It's a great car to me.
I've raced an SI and beat him. Granted he's only been driving manual for 3 months but I was a car lengths ahead from a dig to 50mph. I do miss rowing my gears. But I wouldn't miss it if I owned the sport in manual. You need to drive an SI. It's pretty nice. I just don't prefer the sedan (I have...
Don't know if this has been covered before but here it goes.
A little bit about my background. First car was an Acura RSX-S 6 speed and afterwards I owned a Nissan Altima SE-R 6 speed then a BMW E46 6 speed to a GMC Sierra and now this Civic Hatchback Sport CVT. I used to sell cars and...
