Is this the first time that is basically a drivers race between the Si and the lower trims? When things get twisty I'm sure the Si will pull ahead, but I'm starting to get the opinion that equal drivers, the Si may BARELY edge out the other two in a line and may end up with the Sport on its tail...

Seems the Sentra NISMO is rated 188/177 like the SR Turbo but is putting down about 180/168 at the wheel if this dyno is accurate. The 6spd manual should likely put down more than that. This seems to get brought up a lot by people in other threads that seem to not "get" why people are complaining about the Si's released info. I'm not sure if these people are just not reading the full threads or just can't follow the conversation so I'll make a couple of points to clear it up...

Has anyone found out what exactly the difference is? I see people saying that the two have different engine codes. Based on that it seems that the difference should be more than just a bit of ECU tuning as that would have no reason to be a different engine part number.

What really bugs me is that people complained(not specifically here but in general) the NISMO Sentra is just an SR Turbo + NISMO suspension and interior exterior pkg, and it sounds like the Si will mostly be the same but will have LSD and 2hp/tq more than the NISMO. (based on rumor the Si just...

I don't get it. 2.0 and 1.5T make sense, but why a "sport" trim when the Si and R still need to come out? It's not enough power to make any difference, so why have it?
