My reason for asking may sound strange, I had a Samsung G8+ that would connect to the Honda, but not a Pioneer (NEX 2430) in my 07 GXP. I use the same cable from the Honda to Pioneer and Android Auto would not work. It would start, then on the Pioneer screen I would see "Android Auto stopped"...

Just curious if anyone knows on 2016 specifically, the USB where you plug into, is that a USB 2 or USB 3? The fact that in the sticky post for this forum it says 1.5 amps makes me think USB 3.
