That's precisely why we very rarely quote horsepower numbers for our race engines, we prefer to show before/after comparison curves. Most dynos vary from day to day based on air temp, humidity etc as well as the preprogrammed offsets, let alone from dyno to dyno and their individual accuracies...
We do see the opportunities with FK8, and it will come, but as you will appreciate, the Mugen philosophy is to come to the market only when the product is fully developed and tested . There will be something to see at Tokyo Auto Salon 2018.
I remember seeing a few times the North American Touring Car Championship that came on the CART undercard in 96/97, but the Honda's in that were Accords, so obviously that was the racing model of choice for Honda USA at that time.
As production numbers increase they tend to get even more random. If you ever see any with R-00000 then that will (should) be one of the pre-production prototypes.
