It should fit fine as far as heights concerned. It probably won't be much larger than stock and I'm not sure what a 225 will look like on the wheel. Why are you trying to get a taller tire?
Oh well looks like I'll be picking a color that's already available. I didn't want black but after seeing a forum members I want one. Not sure if I want to take care of black paint though; it shows everything.
I dont have a civic yet but wanted to give my input. As a few others have already said; I think it's best to let the car idle for a minute and then drive slowly and keep the engine speed down until things warm up. This ensures that everything is at the correct operating temperature. Your engine...
I might have to get some of that rodent tape just in case. We haven't had many issues but a chipmunk chewed the wiring on a family members car causing a couple thousand dollars. They had to remove the heads to properly fix it.
Haha yeah the guy was commenting all over youtube saying the tune didn't make it faster at all. I'm sure if you guys look through some of the EXT or Si videos on youtube you'll see some of his comments. Its a shame that someone would say that about a product that does so much for the car.
Well at least you'll be back to driving a manual. I'm hoping to get an Si when the 2018's come out. Saving up some money for a good down payment until then. How do you like the Si compared to the one you traded in?
Hmmmm... I didn't have this issue during my test drive. Maybe the sunroof was open just a crack. I was actually surprised how quite the interior was compared to my other cars.
I feel like people would lose their mind if I pumped gas with the car on. I used to do it at a dealer I worked at and we never had a problem. I know for sure they do it up in Alaska. You just gotta make sure you don't discharge any static.
I don't have an Si yet but I've heard multiple people say that theirs was only pulling 17 psi. What gear were you in? I wouldn't be surprised if it run less psi in some gears at certain RPMs.
Its a possibility that it was put together a certain way at the factory. Most doors are adjustable and maybe the tolerances are so tight it it caused this. I'm sure if you took it to the dealer they could re-align the door. I feel like these kind of things shouldn't happen to a new car.
Well I have to wait until fall either way so I'll probably try to swing a 2018 model if possible. Until then I'm saving and trying to sell my other sports car so I can have a good down payment. I don't really like making payments for more than 4 years so I'm trying to put a decent amount down...
Perhaps the guy that thought it was slow didn't give the car a chance or had a CVT. Either way I'm scraping together some money to get a new Si this fall. I honestly can't wait! These tunes sure do look impressive too.
Man I can't wait to see what a tune does. You guys should show some pulls on the street so we can see the difference in acceleration. I'm sure its nothing crazy but nonetheless it would be interesting.
I have heard someone say the tune didn't make their EX-T any faster and then I also saw someone run a sub 14 second 1/4 mile with a tune and intake I believe. Are these tunes really that effective? What would have caused the other guys car to feel the same? Is there something that could have...
