I was driving hard on some mountain roads uphill earlier today. I had the car on the L gear, and the whole time, there was an odd whining noise. It was there the whole time until i changed to normal D gear. Is this normal for a CVT? I've never had a CVT before so I'm not sure what to expect.

Are there any instructions out on how to remove the front bumper, headlight assembly, and silver grille piece? I want to do some cosmetic work, but am unsure on how to go about this.
