To be fair, I have had 2 sets of GLOC pads sitting on my work bench for a year now waiting for rotors so technically thats just wasting money. I have spent the last few weeks mattress shopping and now here's the wrench in my plans. Stop quickly or sleep quickly?
Thats a good price, may end up going that route. I already have Motul 5.1 in, I just got some GLoc R16 pads so I need to get some new rotors to swap them in. Looking to compete in OTA this year so you may see an order come in soon! Thanks!
Sorry to quote you so far back, but did you ever get the rotors? Need to get a set and everything on this side of the world is way more expensive than that price.
Thanks!
It wasn't but I had a quick look over/under when I was at the dealer. In the summer I'm actually tempted to pull the motor and replace all the seals and gaskets and probably the timing chain just to ensure I get many more years. Check kijiji, these things are all over it for 2k or less, even...
I went to a used car dealership and found a mint condition 2002 CRV with 4WD for 1400 CDN. Put 52000kms on it so far without issue. It's great in the snow so it makes a perfect beater and it's decent on gas.
I had my stock CTR dyno at ART Motorsports in Thorndale on Petro Canada 94 at 296whp 306wtq back in 2017. Unfortunately the picture I have doesn't show the correction but hopefully that's a little helpful for you. I was hoping to do OTA this year but I'll see you next year!
Either JSpec or JRP will be great for you, I got Sparco Pro Corsas with Yokohama IG52Cs for around 1900 I believe? I used them for a bit of one winter and then I bought a great condition 2002 CRV for 1400 dollars. If you drop the CTR insurance to whatever your insurance company will do for...
The one company was from Hamilton and I will not recommend you use them haha. The other one came was a CAA truck I believe!
Also small world, I am wondering if I was literally JUST talking about you with my friend before I opened this message haha. Do you happen to work at Fastenal? I am...
The first time mine was on a flatbed they scraped the lip, the second time the guy didn't but he rear ended 2 cars with it on the back so pick your battles I guess.
Your hood is made out of aluminum to keep the weight down, and believe me it succeeds! It's quite a bit lighter than the other models. Perfectly normal and it's one of my favourite things about the car!
This really confuses me, I've never had a problem with it in either of the Type Rs I've had. I'm wondering if it's a MPH thing as everyone who's commented is American. Every click of the button goes up or down 1 KPH for me, so maybe that has to do with it?
Sorry if this isn't really helpful...
Installed my Raceseng tow strap I had sitting around for a while. Installed it into the crash bar by drilling a hole upwards, so the force would be pulling straight out. Hopefully I never need to use it but sometimes I have way too much fun on the track.
You are all so lucky! I ordered a pair last Friday and I guess my card didn't like being used over seas, so it gave me an error code when I placed the order, so I tried again just in case and error again. Looked at my bank the next day and they still charged me, twice.

Oh yeah its definitely gone. I've lost a couple this way as well. Not as bad as my 9th gen Si when I was tightening the strut bolts after installing some lowering springs. They were behind a rubber cover and hard to get at, underneath the windshield cowel, and just as I was tightening the last...
We do though, it was anti-lag. We need to stop the spread of misinformation that these motors are weak and making it look like Hondas fault. How many motors have we seen blown because of anti-lag? Every one who uses it ignores people saying not to use it on stock motors, they do, blow their...
