Update, 4piston racing is manufacturing and selling forged pistons and rods for the fk8 as well as a 2.3lt stroker engine and built "race" engines for the consumer.

Yes 4piston managed to bend a rod which led them to manufacture aftermarket forged rods and pistons for their CTR. Not sure if they are selling them to the public yet but They also built a 2.2 liter stroker kit as well. Its seems anything over 400wtq is what's causing the issue which seems fair...

I'm looking for those who are actively racing their vehicle and have encountered parts failure that they've had to replace.

Anybody breaking any parts while racing their type r's? Just wanted to see the weakest links?

Yup! Snapped like a twig and just so happens to be the most important mount supports 90% of the motors torque application...

I see this mount being very popular with the fk8 family.....
