Had my 17 Si Sedan for two years.
Decided I wanted a bigger/more comfortable car with an auto again.
Picked up a 2016 Acura TLX 2.4L .
It's super comfy and I have hung up my third pedal.
Thanks for the good times.
Sometimes (not always) with the window rolled down (especially in the garage or drive thru) when I depress the clutch, there's a slight squeak or almost like a pssst sound that is heard coming from the engine bay area.I it also tis not audible from within the vehicle with windows up, and is not...
17 Civic here - I've never been able to figure this out.
What buttons do your press, while listening to music with Android auto, to access the 3-band equalizer?
It seems I have to exit Android auto and press some weird sequence of buttons from the standard radio to get the "SOUND" button to...
This is a repost from the Si forums, but I thought it would apply to every 10th gen.
20k miles, drives fine. This just started making this sound.
What is this sound? Happens on/off but more on than off. Happens when car is on or off, and while in gear or out.
20k miles on my 2017 Si
There's a couple things going on with my car.
1. *intermittently* When depressing/releasing the clutch, there is a creaking sound. It is only during depressing of the clutch. There are no sounds otherwise. Seems to drive fine/no slipping. It does it when the car is on...
Does this motor use any method to spray gasoline onto the valves to clean them during normal operation like some other cars?
Or is this motor just prone to build up and eventual cleaning at higher mileage?
What can you do as a user to mitigate this?
Thanks

I was in the white Si Sedan and you had a blue Si Sedan with orange painted/dipped wheels.
You revved on me and by the time I realized a fellow Si brother was there it was time to go!
So I've had my Si for a year now and I just noticed this.
The OEM weeks have spokes with fins on them like below:
Now all for of my wheels go the same direction.
So that means on the driver's side, the fins point towards the rear of the car and on the passenger side they point towards the...
Hey guys,
I've had my Si for about a year now and am finally considering one of the tunes.
My goals:
1. Add a little more pep into my Si's step.
2. Do the above with minimal extra wear and tear.
At this point, I'm only interested in the tune and no other modifications. I'm interested in the...
First damage to my new car.
Was at my son's school for a parent teacher conference. Pulled up to park along the sidewalk.
Curbed it on a rectangular storm drain that was in a rounded sidewalk curb.
Anyway... Yeah.
There's a small strip of rubber that was sliced off. Think it's safe to...
First rain here, and my foot slipped right off the clutch after getting into the car and going.
I never had this issue with my other cars that had full rubber pedals. The little nubs just aren't enough. Also compounded by my having all weather mats, so nothing to dry my feet off of.
Just a...
I've been having an issue with my carplay after the ios11 update, where I can start Amazon music, navigate my playlists, and press play, but it will not actually start playing until I activate it on the actual phone. It just spins. Anyone else have this issue?

Another thread about a similar but not exact symptom has me thinking.
2017 Si Sedan, 3k miles.
I notice when upshifting only, that there is a muted but audible two-clunk when engaging and disengaging the clutch while shifting.
Shifting itself is smooth and the clutch feels fine, but there's a...
I've noticed the last couple of days that when viewing the forum on iOS 11 on my iPhone, I get this "winning spin" pop up that requires a reload to close.
I've scanned my device and there's nothing malicious on it, but wanted to see if anyone else has been experiencing this lately?
I know...
Didn't want to thread jack the other guy, but I had a question about clutches.
Right now, the OEM clutch in the Si is very soft with very little feedback and a vague bite point.
Once this clutch takes a shit, which sounds like it's definitely there weak point, I don't want to just replace it...
Not necessarily performance oriented, but quality of life focused warranty friendly?
What have you done to improve your car's quality of life?
So far I've done the following on my 2017 Si Sedan:
1. Tinted windows
2. OEM Honda high wall rubber floor mats.
3. Knock off door entry scuff...
like the the one found in the ILX, would you consider it?
Or would it just limit availability of the 6 speed versions to the rarity of the 6 speed EX-T?
Also does anyone have any experience with the DCT from Honda? It says it has a torque converter to smooth low speed driving.
Does this...
