I have an si and mine came out. I dont really remember having too much of an issue with the lid or having to push to make it work, the screws all pretty much went right in. The only thing that bothers me is constantly having to keep checking the intake for what happens next, I'm just waiting for...
I'm glad somebody brought this up, I'm also missing bolts on the lid area as well, only 2 but I'm sure the others are on the way out. Not sure how as I also barely push this car and I torqued them down like I was supposed too. The only way I noticed was because I do check the filter every now...
Mine does this too, just under 10k miles. But then again the whole car drives/sounds like trash with the A/C on so unfortunately I try not to use it which kinda sucks.
These look great! I had some of my interior done on my 9th gen in Alcantara in charcoal and absolutely loved it. Wish the anthracite color was in stock I'd be all over this.
So I finally got around to installing my intake today, I wasnt going too but I accidentally dropped one of my cable bushings while installing the acuity ones and couldn't get to it without dropping the skid plate or taking most of the air box out.
First off I didn't jack the car up, the 2...
How would you change there MAF to stock size? I'm actually interested. And I'll be honest here, it's the exact reason why my intake has been sitting inside my house and not installed. Ever since those pics surfaced it does worry me a little, yeah they said itll be fine and no one has reported...
When I talked to him about it he said it was intentionally like that, he said it performed the best out of what they tried. I didn't get much more into it, I figured that was enough for me considering he seems pretty honest. But hopefully he chimes in for himself.
Agreed, also following for updates on this. I had the buddy club on my 9th gen till I bought the acuity short shifter assembly. But I enjoyed it for the time I had it installed, which was a long time.
Kinda wish the 9th gen shifters fit the 10th gens because I still have both the buddy club and...
The stock boot should fit, like others said I had it on my 9th gen and it worked. But to be honest I got rid of the boot and ran it without one, it was too beautiful to cover up, plus I like purple so that's a plus. I still have my 9th gen shifter from them actually and all the parts I ordered...
I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but I have acuity everything waiting to install them, but I forgot to order the base bushings. I however still have my old 9th gen si base bushings from when i got there short shifter kit. Will the 9th gen base bushings work on my 10th gen? I've yet to...
I definitely already downloaded! And looking at them made me ask the question, it seemed it was only to get the old air box out and I've seen people do it without getting under the car. But if going under makes it easier then that's the path I want, I just want an easy install, or somewhat...
Thanks for the reply! I'll figure something out, I had planned on installing it today but it's too damn hot anyway and not having the ramps doesnt help. But if it's a pain with them then I dont wanna imagine it without them.
