Hopefully my replacement won't leak. There really aren't any other options besides go without AC or replace the car entirely, neither of which I am willing to do right now. There is a 1-year warranty on the replacement compressor, so hopefully if it does fail it will be within a year. Maybe I...
I also had a bad compressor out of warranty and paid to get it replaced. Total after tax was just under $1900. Very expensive, but was cheaper of the 2 dealer quotes I got (the other was $2200). I also checked with an independent mechanic who wouldn't give me a quote. He didn't want to touch it...
I just paid $1900 to have my compressor/clutch/coil replaced out of warranty. I did get the letter about the AC condenser, so I was hoping it would be that. However 2 different dealers confirmed that the compressor was my problem and that it was not covered under the 10-year warranty. And that...
The compressor is known to leak as well as the condenser. I just paid to have my compressor/clutch/coil replaced out of warranty ($1900!). Take the car back and have them check everything again. Definitely make sure to get the issue fixed while you are covered by the B2B warranty. Honda is only...
Sensing isn't perfect but I'm glad I have it. I use LKAS nearly every time I got on a highway. It works well for me. I haven't noticed any of the problems that OP described. The ACC I agree is far too conservative and you will constantly be cut off in moderate to heavy traffic. That being said...

Favorite feature: So many to choose from, but favorite would probably have to be the Android Auto integration. One of the main reasons I bought the car. There were very few cars with AA/CarPlay available in late 2015. It's much more available now.
Least favorite: Auto...
I have a Touring and I use Android Auto. For me, the dash display does show the distance meter. What it is missing vs the Garmin is the intersections. e.g. Android Auto will just show a left turn ahead. Garmin will show the left turn overlaid onto gray lines indicating the roads in that...
Yes it seems like Honda went with cheaper cameras in the new Civic. My 2015 Honda Fit had much better Lane Watch and backup cameras. Better resolution, better frames-per-second performance, better low-light visibility.
I disagree about the armrest, though. I think it is just fine. Again, coming...
I have a rattle in the rearview mirror plastic housing that holds the Honda Sensing camera and rain sensor. It comes and goes but has been persistent lately. Possibly the summer heat is expanding the plastic and aggravating the rattle. I'm not sure what to do. I don't want to mess with it...
This past winter I used General Altimax Arctics on 16" steelies. If I could do it over again, I would get inexpensive alloy rims instead of steelies. They really take away from the look of the car.
My vote is sedan for both aesthetics and practicality. The sedan's exterior is really well proportioned; by comparison the coupe's exterior looks a bit goofy to me. I owned a Civic coupe for 9 years and I love having the extra 2 doors now, even though I rarely have more than 1 passenger. One...

I was hit in a driveway while stopped. The other car was backing up perpendicular to my car and scraped along the length of my rear bumper. The bumper cover needs to be replaced. Luckily it looks like the damage was entirely contained to the bumper cover.
The most necessary accessory for me was the plastic trunk tray. I don't have trash pickup so I use my Civic to haul my garbage. The trunk tray eliminates the possibility of foul-smelling garbage juice from a leaky bag being absorbed into the carpeting!
Second most necessary accessory is the all...
I've had my Civic for close to 4 months and it's been mostly excellent. I especially love all the technology in the car. Every passenger I have had has commented on how many gadgets the car has.
My two small issues: the rain sensing wipers don't work well (well documented in another thread)...
I am also 5'10" and I also keep my seat height at the lowest position because its the most comfortable. If I raise the seat too much it doesn't feel right and hurts my back. This car was definitely made for a low to the ground driving position.
My rain sensing wipers also don't work properly. Same problem as everyone else: in light rain they start off seemingly fine and then end up going berserk. Every time it rains it is a frustrating experience. I end up constantly turning the wipers on and off manually as I drive. I wish I could...
The "true cost" of my Touring was $25,404. That is $25,015 base price plus $389 doc fee. I can't use the sales tax to figure it out because the doc fee is untaxed, and my trade lowered my sales tax.
