Joined the 265/35/18 tire club! 18x9.5 +45 metallic bronze Enkei RPF1s (custom powder coated color). 3mm spacer in the fronts in order to have some clearance from the Tein Flex Z coilovers. I'll make a post in the Wheels/Tires forum on the details of fitting this setup without rubbing. Hooray...
Replaced my Eibach Pro-Kit springs with Tein Flex Z coilovers as I wanted to improve handling, and have adjustable camber and ride height. I was hesitant when ordering these coilovers as I used to have a set of D2 Racing coilovers and they were terrible for daily driving (typical Taiwanese-made...
The lighting was too nice not to take a picture. Unfortunately, the car needs a good cleaning. New wheels are in the works as I'm not a fan of the colour, specs (18x9.5 +35), and how the tires look so stretched over them (235/40/18). After seeing how the 11th gen sedan looks, other mods are on...
I've compiled a list of aftermarket lower springs and their drop amounts as part of doing research for my vehicle. I thought this might be helpful to those who are deciding on which lowering springs to get. The order of this list under each vehicle model is from the least to the most amount of...
@gtman is close! I used to run that spec but these wheels are 18x9.5 +35 on the old 235/35/18 tires. You definitely won't rub with your planned setup and will be close to flush (1 or 2mm from flush). I definitely have a good 10mm of poke with my setup and had to do the fender tab mod in the...
I had my tint guy vinyl wrap them in black alongside some of the chrome window trim. He couldn't wrap the whole fog trim due to the shape so I opted for just the eyebrow portion.
For some reason, I can't find any aftermarket gloss black trim. There's carbon fiber but I'm not a fan of that look.
It's been a while. Haven't done much to the car other than put on my newly painted gloss black Rotiform RSE's. Verdict still out if I like this "stormtrooper" look.
Winter tires are still on due to not driving the car much this year. While I miss my aftermarket wheels, the stock wheels have grown on me. I must be getting old.
Looks good! But doesn't the inconsistent direction of the carbon fiber bothers you? I ordered CF style pieces as well and the different carbon fiber directions between the trim pieces bugs me. Maybe I have a problem haha.
Felt cute, might delete later. In seriousness, the mirror caps (crystal black pearl) have grown on me. Still giving this car a look back every time I walk away from it.
