I saw a Championship White and 2 Red ones today on the drive from NC to PA. Didn't see any on the way down, nor while I was there for a week. I haven't seen one of the new ones yet...
Well, if the 'pandemic' did one good thing - it was to blow up the car industry. I got within $800 of what I paid for my '17 Si in '21. That was half the price of the Type R, so my payment on the '21 CTR is less than the payment I had on the Si.
I couldn't say no. I loved the back end of...
The coupe is what brought me to the 10th gen Si and I would still own it today (until the wheels fall off) if I hadn't had the opportunity to get a 10th gen Type R.
I hate what they have done to both the 11th gen Si and Type R, and from what I'm seeing...the feeling is the same for a lot of...
I got them to replace my head unit a while back. It had the newer firmware. So far, it has been much more pleasant, and if it does screw up, a reboot resolves it A far cry from what it had been doing.
Good luck. I don't know why they can't just issue a FW update....if they have to replace...
That is correct - falls on to the floor. It's on a hinge, but it doesn't stay attached. The Si never did that...nor do I think this one should. I think the dealer just didn't want to get me a replacement.
LOL....noooooo....
I do have a question, however, that I think I already know the answer to. When you 'drop' the glovebox to access the cabin filter - the glovebox door should remain hanging there, correct? It did on both my Si, but the Type R it falls on the floor... The dealer told me...
Yeah...the ones the stealership charges around $100+ to change. What a ripoff - it takes like 2 min. I'm not mechanically inclined but even I can do that task.
Last week I saw one all wrapped in advertising, and 5 min later, a Red one. Prior to that, it had been quite a while.
I never get waves - back in the old days, when I had a '66 Mustang, other Mustang drivers would wave, and when I'm on the Goldwing, almost all other bikers wave - except some of...
Not sure if this affects CTR or just normal Civics and/or Si, but you may want to check your production date and then check into it...

Not necessarily true...that's what I thought, but fate smiled upon me in '21. I had a '17 Si Coupe - the dealer gave me all but about $400 of what I paid for it when I traded on the CTR. My payment for the CTR is less than what the Si was :)
Keep the faith.
LOL 'back then, they were "mass-produced" ' Sales people... I bought my '21 R at MSRP, and if that dealer had a '23...it would be MSRP,as well...they don't jack up prices...
There is a comment somewhere in this vast site, whereby someone knew someone at Honda and the plates were basically in a bucket and the person working on assembly would reach in and grab one - not in numerical order. The amount of factual basis in that is probably up for debate...but...
If you're buying HondaCare extended warranty - go through Hyannis Honda - they sell them at cost - substantially less than most stealerships offer them for.
According to this...they can have either type, so it's a crapshoot:
I haven't modded mine...not even Honda Hack...I also never have the stealership do the servicing unless it's warranty work. I have a mechanic who's a tad less expensive than Honda...
