  1. How often do you get the urge to impulsively trade/sell your Si

Yes I got the automatic. I dont think they even have any manuals left now at the end of 2020 and of course they are stopping them for 21. I have not tried the paddle shifters yet. I never used them on another car that had then and prolly wont on this either. The room is tremendous in the...
  2. How often do you get the urge to impulsively trade/sell your Si

I only have 32 miles on it after driving it around and a long way from breaking it in, but just from short time, I can say it is very smooth. The steering in sport mode is nice and firm, similar to the Si, but you dont get the same feedback of course. The ride is firm, but absorbent. It drives...
  3. How often do you get the urge to impulsively trade/sell your Si

Well I did it, bought a 2020 Accord Sport 2.0t today in white. fresh off the truck
  4. He likes it!

oh wow, I had a 92 Laser, not the turbo, just the 2.0. I think it was 135 hp lol.
  5. He likes it!

ahh the yellow CRX, that had to be the 88 to 91 CRX to be yellow. I was just out of highschool when that style came out. I always wanted one, but alas it was not to be at the time.

  7. How often do you get the urge to impulsively trade/sell your Si

For the last couple of days I have been putting out feelers on 2020 Accords, mostly 2.0t sports and one 1.5t sport. Since its the end of the model year, I feel like there should be some really good deals. I have heard back on the 1.5t sport for a total of $24,763, but that does not include...
  8. What does everyone think of the upcoming Mazda3 2.5Turbo?

Yeah, maybe if you could get a good deal on it where you are not paying MSRP, but for that starting price, I think I would rather have an accord sport 2.0T. I see those for $30K, maybe less.
  9. What does everyone think of the upcoming Mazda3 2.5Turbo?

Well got a notification today, Car and Driver confirms 30, 945 for the Mazda3 turbo sedan and starting at 31, 845 for the Hatchback, up to $34,695 for the fully loaded prem plus trim. Available by the end of the year, Like the SI with an HFP package that can add the $, there is a bbs wheel...
  10. It's official - There will be an 11th Gen Civic Si!

yes, it would need at least leather and power seating and even Navi at that price.
  11. No more Coupe!

Hmm yeah the combustion engines need to go, there needs to be new technology.
  12. No more Coupe!

Yes the 88 Prelude was definitely a nice upgrade over the 87. I never got to drive the 88 style, but it was beautiful. Back in the day, the Preludes were priced like the CTR is now (maybe not that high, but they were expensive). Back in those days I had to settle for an 81 Nissan 200sx...
  13. No more Coupe!

I did not realize that the Si coupe was just North America (cant forget Canada). Yes it should have been released to other countries then.
  14. No more Coupe!

I had a chance to buy a brand new Prelude back in 2000. I wish I had. I loved the preludes. The one I really still love though is the 86-87 Prelude Si. I was in high school when the 86/87 was out and no way I could afford one.
  15. No more Coupe!

Right, just like people buy a 1.5t accord and a 2.0t accord. That analogy may not be 100%, but I think that there is cause for them to have both an si hatch and CTR hatch
  16. It's official - There will be an 11th Gen Civic Si!

Also read that the 2.0 NA engine may go bye bye as well.
  17. What does everyone think of the upcoming Mazda3 2.5Turbo?

true, but for some its also not about racing other vehicles, but effortless power in day to day is nice too. Its not about the total horsepower for me, but the down low power that could increase. The 10th Gen did this over the previous gens (which I have had as well). So I would like more of...
  18. What does everyone think of the upcoming Mazda3 2.5Turbo?

Well that is your truth. I have had many different types of vehicles and engines in my 34 years of driving and I dont agree, however that is not the point of this thread, so your opinion on turbo vs NA is not valued for this thread, especially when you came in commenting as you did.
  19. What does everyone think of the upcoming Mazda3 2.5Turbo?

Just got the latest car and driver, VW GTI will be 242 hp from its 2.0. Estimated $30K. With Mazda, Toyota, VW and even Hyundai having something running in the middle of the SI and the CTR, they do need to consider something from a strategic standpoint.
