I also have the Vredestein Quatrac 5. I love em!!! Bought them last fall and they are amazing in the rain. Make less noise then the OEM all seasons on the highway and same MPG. In the snow I love them. Here in Iowa we are on track for our snowest winter ever. They have not spun once when pulling...
I love the ability to open the windows and moonroof to let the heat out as I walk up to the car. Gets very hot inside a car here in Iowa.
#2 walk away lock.
#3 right side camera.
#3 Brake hold. Love sitting at a stoplight, throw it in neutral, and chill till the light turns green.
I wanted the Aegean Blue Metallic from the git go. I bought the first 2017 Aegean Blue Metallic SI coupe that made it to the state of Iowa. And no, I did not pay MSRP.
60 years young here! Love this car. You can have fun with your right foot or get into trouble with it. On top of that, 35mpg overall since I bought it. No mods, yet. Might get a tune after the warranty is up.
I so envy you all that have warmer weather than I do here in Iowa. Hasn't been above freezing for more than an hour or two since December. My car is so filthy. Just had the snowest start of year ever here. Ice, snow and below freezing temps (It's -7 as I type this) several days each week. Just...
I bought my SI in July 2017. I JUST saw my first SI, live, in the wild, in Iowa. West Des Moines, a red coupe, driven by a lady. Can not believe it took this long for me to see another 10th gen SI in central Iowa.
I've been wondering about better sound from this engine/exhaust. What I have heard from other people have not done anything for me. Yours sounds awesome, even for an old fart like myself. I even like the look of the quad tips. Something I can't say for the other options out there. So, it sounds...
Does this happen at highway speeds? I've noticed it also. If you have your moonroof tilted, the suction of the air over the top of the roof will suck air out of the floor vents.
I've done this on a winter highway trip. Tilted the moonroof and the heat comes from the floor vents, up your chest...
After 1 year of ownership, I have yet to see a 10th gen SI in the wild here in Iowa. Coupe or Sedan. Not on the road, in a parking lot, nada. So it makes it feel like my car is "rare"
@Dying2Live , what @RYSBRNR and @caspar21 said. As cold as it can get in the great plains you don't chances. You always make sure you have plenty of fuel.
Now in my Si, every time I've gone down to the low fuel light, when I fueled, I had anywhere from 2.0 to 2.4 gallons left. Have only done this in warm months. Winter in Iowa I refuel at half tank.
I'm 59 and have never owned an automatic. The Si is such a fun car to drive and you can get outstanding MPG if you want. The times I'm at a store and walk out to find someone checking out my Si, it's always someone older. (40's,50's,60's) When driving down the street and hear someone yell "nice...
