I consistently get 28.5 around town without being nice to it. On flat highway, I can get up to 45, but on "normal" so-cal highway, I get about 39. Like other turbo engines, uphills kill the mileage. If I'm babying it around town, I can get 34. KTuner 19.5/23 Vit, PRL street intake.
I've seen plenty of videos and posts showing pre-2020 Type R steering wheels installed on the Si. Has anyone tried a 2020 Type R steering wheel? New part number, alcantara, and lots more expensive. The pre-2020 Type R steering wheels seem to be out of stock everywhere.
I have the old design and had to replace the hoses and barbed fittings with stainless steel versions. Mishimoto acted all surprised when I told them I could smell fuel after I installed the catch can. I just purchased emission hose and took care of it without their "help."

I had a 2006 Accord EX6 with a 6 speed. There was a TSB for the second gear synchro and the problem caused difficult shifting in to second gear on occasion (often resulting in missed shifts). No way I was going to let a tech tear my transmission apart, so I lived with it. I read on a forum that...
51 YO here and loving my '17 Si. I prefer manual transmissions, great handling, and a small, light car. Was a musclecar guy in the past, but I'd much rather have a car like the Si nowadays. I'd have a Type R, but it's too "boyracer" for my taste.
Past experience with my 2006 6MT V6 Accord left me feeling really good about GM Synchromesh MTF. It worked wonders in the Accord, including eliminating the need for me to fix the TSB synchro issue that plagued that transmission. I decided to try it in my Si, as shifts were starting to feel a...
Warning: Installing an aftermarket head unit in these cars is not easy. I have done lots of car and other DIY projects and my wife's Sport Hatch still doesn't have working backup camera or steering wheel controls after the head unit install. I used all the gear from Crutchfield, too. It's a work...
2017 Si. For me, it's a tie between the touchscreen climate controls and Android Auto. Why they buried the AC controls in a touchscreen when there was plenty of room for normal buttons that didn't require looking at a screen for five seconds to change fan speed I'll never know.
The seats in the Si are much more comfortable to me than the normal Civic seats. I mean, a LOT more comfortable. As one would expect, the ride is a bit firmer in the Si than the hatch so if you are driving on bumpy roads every day (or in traffic with a manual), that can be an issue after a...
