I am also looking to swap my seats for leather seats, but dont know if this will work. I have a civic EXT cloth heated seats non power and want to replace with leather power seats. I wanted to see if this will work before I spend the money.

Oh Acura.....I wanted this car so bad, so bad. They were so hard on me paying $30,000.00 for the vehicle. Every where i went they could just not meet me in the middle, then the civic came out. This is when i ended going to the Civic brand. I should of waited, but I am happy now with my Civic.

Hey not nice I do have a 2016 Civic and love that car....lol. You might be right. Now that i think about it might be a key for something else. I did compare it to the actual key and it is very similar. When i find out what the key is for i will let you know. I just figured it was a valet key. Oops

I think I was using the valet key and forgot there is a key inside the remote.

Finally got in with the key. Still this should of not happened at all.
