Cool thanks, I’ll see what they say. I was hoping to find someone more Honda specific, but I guess I’ll take what I can get. I know it’s always a toss up whether shops will install customer components too.
Anyone know of any good places or even solo mechanics in the area that would be a good choice for a clutch/flywheel install? Just moved back to the area (up by lake norman), but Im sitting on these parts gathering dust in a box. I'm sure I could do it myself, but I honestly don't really feel...
@RV6 you guys have any good suggestions for exhaust from the FP back? Trying to figure out if most stuff out there will fit with the front pipe ... or if the better option would be a custom setup? Had the catless downpipe for a long time and semi recently added the front pipe. Love it, I just...
We’re far enough south man! Been running it for about a year and a half. CTR sounds real quiet in the Si, which is why I’m going for it. If not I’ll prob run the MAP one or 27won.
There’s a bunch of Sis and and least one CTR up in Fredericksburg, can’t seem to meet any of them though or...
Yeah I’m looking to get a stock R exhaust for the Si. Full catless dp+fp with the stock Si exhaust sounding a little raspy for me. Seen some people do the R exhaust, and it sounds good. Let me know how this weekend goes at C&C, I’ll try and make the next one.
Any of you boys going to upgrade your exhausts? I’m trying to get ahold of a type r exhaust for my Si. I live up in Fredericksburg but work in Henrico. Down for any meets too!
Haha I hear that completely, I’m 34 man so same boat! We still gotta rep for the older school Honda boys. I didn’t want to go loud with mine either, so this option works well. I’m planning on keeping the from the FP back stock since there’s no real performance advantage, you’re pretty much...
Maybe a little smell at first but it went away pretty quickly. Maybe a little rasp right off the bat too, but barely noticeable, could also have been because of the stage 2 ktuner tune I had on there at the same time. I absolutely love it now though, nice crackles and pops and you can really...
Depends on your inspection laws. I personally don’t have an emissions inspection where I live so I went with the non catted version. No cat always is going to be a little louder with a better flow, less restriction.
Let’s just say all I have currently on the car is this dp, the cobra cai, and a tune ... this thing is a whole other animal that what came out of the dealship.
Mine has been great, I had a few times where the light came on but it usually went back off again soon after. Been without it for quite some time now though.
Just hit 30k yesterday and this things a champ! Just waiting on my clutch install before I kick things up a few notches :flame:
